00:00and we'll see you back here in a little bit.
00:05Things have shifted a little bit is
00:07Jane Daniels is not the overall favorite to win
00:09the Rookie of the Year by that much of a margin anymore.
00:12He's down to minus 270 on FanDuel.
00:14Bo Nix is plus 240.
00:17And I think Daniels is going to win it.
00:19I've been on him since the beginning of the season,
00:21but I think we got to call it what it is.
00:23This may come down, Jacob, to the last month of the year.
00:26I think it will, and I'm right there with you.
00:28I've been on Daniels.
00:29I've been on the Daniels train since the offseason
00:31when Caleb Williams was heavily favored.
00:33And I found myself saying the odds on Jaden Daniels
00:36at 5-1, between 5-1 and 7-1, looked great.
00:40And I know that Bo Nix has played better as of late,
00:43but I still think the thing hurting him at this point
00:46is that really cold stretch he had to open the season.
00:49His first four games, I believe he threw one touchdown
00:52at four interceptions.
00:53Now, since then, Nix has just continued to improve
00:56week to week.
00:57Sean Payton is doing a great job coaching him up.
00:59And we saw on that 93-yard touchdown pass
01:02to Marvin Mims last night, we saw what can happen
01:05when he can read the field quickly,
01:07diagnose what's happening, and just get the ball
01:09out of his hands.
01:10So if he makes more spectacular plays like that,
01:13he's going to be able to close the gap on Jaden Daniels.
01:16But I think Daniels' efficiency and his lack of turnovers
01:20are going to help him in this regard.
01:23And I just think because he jumped out to the quick start
01:25and has sort of continued to play well,
01:27he'll maintain that edge on Nix.
01:29But if Daniels goes through another slight cold stretch
01:32like he had against the Eagles and Steelers,
01:34that could open the door for Nix.
01:36But I'm still riding with Daniels here.
