00:00So, some of the international posting dates, the recommended dates, have already passed,
00:06but don't panic about that. If you are, there are still ways we can get it there for you.
00:10Just pop into your local post office and there are tracked and signed for services that can
00:14still save Christmas for you.
00:16So, just in summary, here are your latest Christmas posting dates. It's Wednesday 18th
00:22of December for second class and second class signed for. Friday 20th of December is for
00:27first class, first class signed for and Royal Mail tracked 48. Saturday 21st of December
00:32for Royal Mail tracked 24 and Monday 23rd of December for special delivery guaranteed.
00:37The name and address on the front is nice and big and clear as much as possible. It
00:42leaves a little bit of space for a stamp or a postage label. That makes it a little bit
00:46easier for us. If you're not sure on packaging, because that can be one that people really
00:50struggle with sometimes, again, pop into your local post office. They'll have mail bags,
00:54bubble wrap, boxes, anything that you need really that will look after whatever it is
00:59you're sending and keep it nice and safe. So, it arrives at the other end just as well
01:03and just as nice as how you sent it. If you're ordering online, you can also get that delivered
01:08to your local post office. So, you can send, collect and return for free at the post office.
01:15If the worst has come to the worst and it has been lost, damaged or delayed, there is
01:19a claims process that we can help you with on that as well. You can either come into
01:22store and we can help you by giving you a form on that or there'll be information on
01:26the post office website. It's really helpful for us at the post office if you know what's inside,
01:32particularly this time of year when you're so busy. It might be that you're sending a friend
01:36or a family member to drop that parcel off for you. We need to know what's inside. Partly,
01:40it's for safety these days, but it also means that we can send it with the right service.
01:45So, one of the other things we can do at the post office as well is we have a lot of different
01:48carriers we can use now. So, as well as Royal Mail and Parcel Force, we also have Every,
01:53DPD and Amazon, and you can use those to send, collect and return.
