00:24The house of Lori Eran's family was hit by a heavy rain this past Sunday night
00:30because of the unceasing rain in Metro Cebu.
00:34A netizen was also able to record the sound of engines in the downtown area
00:39that seemed to have stopped in the middle of the road because of the heavy rain.
00:44They have nothing to do but to wait for the rain to stop.
00:49The rescue team of Cebu City and the BFP Special Rescue Force Region 7 responded to the wife trapped inside the house.
01:01A wall was hit near a condominium property in Barangay Tisa.
01:06According to the authorities, the rescue operation lasted for seven hours.
01:11Elisa Batin was killed.
01:13Her husband, Liberato, was saved.
01:17The rescue operation was hard because of the continuous rain that caused instability of the ground.
01:30That's why our rescuers were very careful so that there will be no disaster to her husband.
01:40Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia of Cebu City called for an investigation.
01:46Five months, five hours of rain.
