00:00Steve Crompton from the 1958. What are we doing here today then? We are protesting
00:05it's the FSA's Stop Exploiting Loyalty protest which is against ticket
00:11ticket prices skyrocketing and obviously the news last week or this week of Sir
00:20Jim and Ineos deciding to just put tickets up to 66 quid now is leaves a
00:25bit of taste in everybody's mouth here. How are the fans feeling? Angry, angry
00:32certainly I am it's you know it just feels like a kick in the teeth and it
00:36the irony is you can actually go on United's website now and buy tickets for
00:40today it's not even the games not even sold out so I've spoken to official
00:46supporters clubs that are in fear that they're going to end up closing down
00:50because obviously they arranged transport and you know if you've got a
00:53half-full coach because people can't afford to pay for the tickets then you
00:57know they'll cease to exist it's the knock-on effect for your match going
01:01fan is it's shocking absolutely shocking. Just tell us about then what could the
01:05knock-on effect be? That people can't afford to come 66 quid for a kid to come
01:10and watch United play is preposterous and it's the same for the older age
01:14category as well you know it's just not it's not right ethically it's just not
01:20right and to do it I think the way it's been done as well where you know no
01:25consultation with the supporters trust the fan advisory board just come out and
01:30done it and you know there you go wallop and it's it stinks the way it's been
01:35done but I think the principle of it all it's just you know halfway through a
01:39season it's just and it feels like it's kind of you know is this then going to
01:46be season tickets next year so you know that we'll have to wait and see for but
01:51you know as fans it's you know don't bite the hand that feeds you you know
01:57we've as loyal supporters we're here week in week out through thick and thin
02:02the good times and the bad times and you know just to get slapped with this no and
02:07for such a minimal amount of you know they're saying that the sailing close
02:14with the PSR and you know the financial regulations yet you know that you're
02:21looking at twenty thirty grand potential uplift on it on a match day it's it's
02:25nothing so what's your message to the to the club and to clubs all around the
02:29country as well as it listen to the fans respect and respect the fans risk yes
02:34respect your match going fans I mean we've we've had dialogue with the club
02:39directly with Colette Roach and Nick McGraw and you know also at the region
02:44meeting where they were talking about rebuilding and everything the narrative
02:48was this is not going to cost the fan base you know we're not going to be
02:52doing this you know we we are focused on the loyalty of our match going fans and
02:58then two weeks later Bosh this comes out and it's like wow okay just all feels
03:03you know we've we've suffered 20 years of deceit from the Glazers and this new
03:10regime yes they're not fully they don't own the club fully but you know it's
03:15once bitten twice shy and you just think you're doing yourself no favors here
03:20none at all
