00:00Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're looking at the most useful echoes in The Legend of
00:13Zelda, Echoes of Wisdom.
00:15Whether it's through practical application like climbing cliffs or crossing gaps, or
00:19dealing tons of damage in combat, these are some of the best echoes you can use throughout
00:24your latest adventure in Hyrule.
00:35But before we get into it, we publish new content all week long, so be sure to subscribe
00:40and ring the bell to get notified about our latest videos.
00:46Wizzrobes
00:51Coming in three elemental variations, the fire, ice, and electric wizzrobes are great
00:56mid-game damage dealers.
00:59Not only do they offer these strong elemental attacks, but pretty good evasion.
01:03They'll warp around the screen, dodging attacks and making it tough for your enemies
01:07to take them out.
01:15Beating these wily wizards can sometimes be a pain in the neck, especially if you aren't
01:20kitted out enough to hit them, but the juice is well worth the squeeze in the end.
01:25Make sure you're closing rifts, as these bad boys cost five of Tri's power to summon
01:31each.
01:36Ignizol
01:43One of the earliest echoes that Zelda encounters on her journey, the Ignizol has both combat
01:48and practical applications, making it one of the most useful.
01:52An adorable variant of the amorphous green blobs that are Xols, these blazing buddies
01:58will set anything that comes into contact with them on fire, whether it be enemies,
02:03grass, or torches.
02:12They're great for trapping foes, and many dungeons benefit from using them when solving
02:16puzzles.
02:17You can even light your way in pitch black areas.
02:20Be careful though, because the fires these little guys start can still hurt you.
02:24So long as you don't go running through their path, you should be fine.
02:35White Wolfos
02:43One of our personal favorites in Echoes of Wisdom, the White Wolfos Echo is a good ol'
02:483 for 1 special.
02:50It has a relatively high cost of five triangles, but once you summon it, it summons two of
02:55its own smaller good boys to fight with it.
02:58Straight up, value.
03:05The trio work as a good distraction in combat, as the enemies will struggle figuring out
03:10which one to go after.
03:11This gives you the perfect opportunity to enter sword fighter form and dispatch them
03:15with ease, or just sit back and enjoy the carnage.
03:24Platboom
03:32Another early game staple, the Platboom is hilarious to use in battle, being able to
03:37squish enemies who are dumb enough to walk under it.
03:40But it's also extremely practical when it comes to exploration, letting Zelda ride
03:44it up a cliff, elevator style.
03:56It costs three triangles, so you can use it from the get go, but finding it can be tough
04:01as it only appears in two locations.
04:03In a cave directly above Gerudo Town, and the Desert Temple during the main quest Rift
04:09in the Desert.
04:10There are several great traversal echoes in the game, but the Platboom is definitely one
04:16of the most fun.
04:26Crow
04:34You wouldn't guess it just from looking at it, but this unassuming little bird is one
04:38of the best echoes in the entire game.
04:41Not only are crows super easy to find all over Hyrule Field, they're also extremely
04:46efficient in their summoning costs, coming in at two measly triangles.
04:58The best part?
04:59When the crow attacks an enemy, they knock out a ton of rupees, making this a great way
05:04to farm for cash.
05:06Oh, and like a few other summons in the game, if you use Zelda's new bind ability, you'll
05:11be able to fly through the air with it.
05:19Bomb Fish
05:28As is tradition in every Legend of Zelda game, bombs are an integral part of your adventure
05:33in both combat and exploration.
05:36From blowing up cracked walls to dealing big damage to groups of enemies, bombs have always
05:40been one of the most useful tools in your arsenal.
05:44Echoes of Wisdom is no different, and they come in the form of the Bomb Fish.
05:54Costing four triangles, you'll want to make sure you're closing rifts to take full advantage
05:58of this bad boy.
06:00If you throw the Bomb Fish in water, they'll act as a homing missile for enemies, making
06:04them a great asset during some underwater traversal.
06:08You do eventually get bombs in Sword Fighter mode, but that will drain your precious meter.
06:13The Bomb Fish is just better.
06:15Plus, it flops around.
06:17How cute.
06:28Water Block
06:35Probably the best way to get around in the entire game, the Water Block Echo makes easy
06:40work of any vertical or horizontal hurdle you'll come across.
06:44Costing one triangle per use, you'll quickly find yourself Tetrising these together to
06:49climb and cross gaps with ease.
06:58I recommend you finish the Jabul Waters portion of the main quest as soon as you can to unlock
07:03this, as it is an essential tool at Zelda's disposal throughout the rest of the game.
07:08It also has combat use too.
07:10If you're lucky enough to trap an enemy in a Water Block, they'll drown and be taken
07:14out.
07:15Just be careful how long you stay in, because Zelda obviously can't breathe underwater either.
07:26P-Hat
07:34Easily the best damage dealer in the opening hours of the game, the P-Hat is a rather large,
07:40flying, spinning, spiky thing.
07:43You can find this lethal leafy weirdo in a cave in the Southern Forest, and I recommend
07:48doing so immediately.
07:58It'll be a bit of a challenge to defeat, as you'll likely only just be starting out, but
08:02it is definitely worth it.
08:04The P-Hat's size and nature of being a giant spinner of death can make short work of groups
08:10of enemies.
08:11Naturally, it's weak to fire, so do your best to avoid ignisols, fire wizzrobes, and the
08:16like when you call on the P-Hat.
08:25Lynel
08:26Ah, the mighty Lynel.
08:36This centurion beast was a force to be reckoned with in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the
08:41Kingdom, and its Echoes of Wisdom counterpart is just as formidable.
08:52You can technically find and unlock the Lynel very early on in the game if you follow its
08:57hoofprints in the Eternal Forest, but you won't have enough of Tri's power to summon
09:02him until much later.
09:04Once you do, it's game over for your enemies.
09:08Having the highest attack and defense in the game, it's the perfect echo for combat
09:12that tanks hits and dispatches moblins with ease.
09:24Old Bed
09:34Would you believe it, one of the first echoes you obtain is also one of the game's best.
09:39Costing only a single triangle, from the jump you're able to create bridges and stairs,
09:43making basic traversal a cinch.
09:46As you upgrade Tri's ability, you'll be able to summon up to six, making canyons and cliffs
09:52laughable as you stack them up.
10:01As an added bonus, you can also lie down to recover hearts.
10:05It goes slow, but it's an extremely useful feature, especially early on.
10:09Sure, bed echoes you get later may be fancier and recover more hearts faster, but they cost
10:15significantly more.
10:17Being able to quickly dump old beds all over the place makes it an invaluable asset.
10:30Since there are a ton of echoes to find in the game, we naturally had to leave out a
10:35lot.
10:36What are some that you relied on for your playthrough?
