Mark Atkinson reports on a big win for Hibs at Fir Park.
Transcript
00:00Good evening from Fair Park, where it's finished.
00:03Motherwell nil, Heads three, a massive result for head coach David Gray and his players
00:08as the Highbees move off the bottom of the table in the William Hill Premiership.
00:13This was an impressive performance at Fair Park against the admittedly wretched home
00:16side who were jeered off by their fans at the end.
00:20The upshot of the 3-0 win, thanks to goals from Junior Hoylett, Nikola Kukarevic and
00:26Josh Campbell, is that they now are three points clear of Hearts in 11th place.
00:31They will only be displaced by the Jambos should they win 3-0 against Aberdeen on Sunday
00:35at Tyne Castle, which would mean that.
00:37If it doesn't happen, it means that the Hebs will be going into December off the foot of
00:41the table with a massive boost.
00:43As I said, they played pretty well here, a very solid performance, defensively sound.
00:47Rocky Bushiri and Warren O'Hara, excellent.
00:49The midfield competed tenaciously and up front they took their chances.
00:53David Gray's name was chanted by the fans at the end.
00:56They're clearly behind the embattled head coach.
00:59We'll see how they kick on in December.
01:01Their next match is away at Celtic, who of course won 5-0 earlier today against Ross
01:05County.
01:06That won't be easy for the manager and his players, but at least they have a little bit
01:09of breathing space after a difficult November.
01:11It finished at Fair Park, Motherwell 0, Hebs 3.
