00:002024 was the year Spotify launched its brand new A.I. DJ.
00:06The program curates music based on the listener's library and listening habits.
00:10The DJ might include new releases that you might like, or that one song that you were
00:14listening to on loop last year.
00:21Personalized playlists are nothing new, but the A.I. DJ offers much more, information
00:26about the music, bands or genre.
00:29All narrated by a synthesized voice.
00:37Spotify allows A.I. generated music on the platform, just as long as no cloned voices
00:43are used without artist's consent.
00:45SoundCloud introduced nine A.I. tools on the platform, aimed at musicians and fans alike.
00:50They are designed to make producing music easier, be it remixing, beat making or generating
00:56vocals.
00:57And to put minds at rest, SoundCloud guarantees that rights holders will be adequately compensated
01:02in case of any infringement.
01:07On Deezer, there are A.I. generated playlists too, but no A.I. generated music.
01:13And in addition, music on the platform won't be used to train A.I. tools.
01:17Deezer was the first music platform to sign a new declaration, drafted by artists against
01:22the use of their music for A.I. training.
01:25To this end, the French music streaming service is developing software to quickly identify
