00:00I feel exhausted, I feel emotionally drained but I think you know what we've
00:04seen today is the best of Parliament. We've seen a really robust debate but
00:08we've seen a debate which was full of compassion and respect for people of
00:12different opinions and you know we don't always get that in Parliament so I'm
00:15actually really proud of what's happened today and I'm also clearly very pleased
00:19with the results. It means that we can start to fix the problems that we have
00:23around end-of-life provision for people and we need to continue the debate
00:28around palliative care, around the rights of disabled people and around a choice that
00:32terminally ill people I strongly believe should have to have a death of their
00:37choosing and we have to do all those things. As I said in my speech we're not
00:41picking one issue here we're picking lots of different issues and the
00:44government and indeed colleagues across the House have got a responsibility to
00:47work on all those things now.
