00:00After almost a week of student-athletes' isolation,

00:04the Philippine team held a closing ceremony last night

00:08at Ramon Mitra Sports Complex in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

00:12And to give us some highlights,

00:14the closing rites were held live from Palawan.

00:24A happy and exciting Philippine team

00:27came to an end here in Puerto Princesa, Palawan

00:31where we witnessed the life of the next generation of Filipino athletes.

00:37The delegates gathered for the closing ceremony last night

00:43at Ramon Mitra Sports Complex in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

00:47Leading the closing rites were

00:50Puerto Princesa City Sports Director,

00:53Rocky Austria and Philippine Sports Commission Executive Director, Paolo Tatad

00:58who both thanked everyone involved in the National Grassroots Competition.

01:04At the heart and soul of this event are you, our young athletes.

01:09You are the anchor upon which all grassroots sports development efforts are centered.

01:15Your passion, determination, and talent

01:18are proof that the future of Philippine sports is bright.

01:23From the bottom of our hearts,

01:26we thank you.

01:29Long live to all of us.

01:31Long live to the Filipino youth.

01:34The most outstanding athletes were

01:38Hazel May Resma from Binyan City

01:41and Albert Jose Amaro II from Naga.

01:45The Pasig City was the largest delegation.

01:50Paolo, now the delegates are heading home to their LGUs.

01:55And of course, before we finish,

01:57we would like to greet all the young athletes

02:00who have dedicated themselves to their sports.

02:02And for the Nabigo, don't worry

02:05because we will see each other again for Batang Pinoy 2025.
