00:27is only temporary.

00:35And Filipino designer Harvey Santos crafts Elphaba's iconic hat from Wicked.
00:41Vice President Sara Duterte appears resigned to her fate in the event she is impeached.
00:45If I get impeached, then that is my end.
00:49The government is spending money to impeach the Vice President.
00:55The administration is covering up the shortcomings and lies.
01:02So that people don't notice that I have made many promises,
01:08I will be told over and over again.
01:13She also claims House Speaker Martin Romualdez wants to become Vice President.
01:18The Philippine Constitution says the President has the power to nominate a legislator from
01:22the Senate or the House of Representatives to fill the vacancy left in the office of
01:26the Vice President.
01:27I really believe that we have reached the point of no return.
01:31They are really going after me.
01:39And they really want to remove me from my position.
01:44Meantime, Vice President Duterte declines to answer questions about her alleged controversial
01:48misuse of funds.
01:50Asked about how her office was found to be violating the rules of confidential funds
01:54use as contained in a Joint Memorandum Circular or JMC.
01:58I will not answer a question na si Bons Magsupol ang nagsabi na there is a violation of the
02:03JMC.
02:05I will only answer kung nagsabi ang POA if there is a violation of the JMC.
02:13Vice President Sara Duterte says the Marcos Jr. Administration is making use of the anti-terrorism
02:19law to harass her.
02:20It is the same law her father's administration championed.
02:24The Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 grants authorities expanded powers to combat terrorism but has
02:30sparked concerns over human rights violations.
02:33She says,
02:34They're trying to reach my properties and assets.
02:37Under the law, the Anti-Terrorism Council can order the freezing of financial assets
02:41or properties.
02:42Duterte once served as co-vice chair of the National Task Force to End Local Communist
02:47Armed Conflict, a body notorious for red-tagging activists, opposition figures, and critics.
02:53A subpoena from the NBI instructed Duterte to appear before NBI Director Jaime Santiago
02:58at his office on the morning of Friday, November 29.
03:02This follows her November 23 online tirade, during which she declared she had asked a
03:06hitman to kill the president, his wife, and his cousin in case she is assassinated.
03:12Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief General Romeo Bronner Jr. says there is no,
03:17quote,
03:18takeover of the security group assigned to the vice president.
03:21He explains the Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group, or VPSPG, will be temporarily
03:26replaced because of a subpoena related to a police investigation.
03:30Colonel Raymond Dante La Chica, chief of the VPSPG, would also be replaced because he is
03:35also being subpoenaed.
03:37The Quezon City Police had filed complaints against Sara Duterte and La Chica, who was
03:41seen on a video shoving a police officer.
03:43Bronner says details of the personnel overhaul are still unavailable.
03:47The AFP chief also dismissed talk of military adventurism in his speech,
03:51apparently referring to former President Rodrigo Duterte's call for military and police
03:56intervention to protect the constitution amid what he described as a, quote-unquote,
04:00fractured government.
04:01Bronner says there are calls for the AFP to intervene in political events in our country,
04:06but that is not our job.
04:07He adds military adventurism of the past cannot happen again.
04:11We will remain professional.
04:14The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court says he would seek an arrest warrant
04:18for Myanmar's military leader Min Aung Hlaing for crimes against humanity over the alleged
04:23persecution of the Rohingya, a mainly Muslim minority.
04:26A panel of three judges will now decide if they agree there are reasonable grounds to
04:30believe General Min Aung Hlaing bears criminal responsibility for the deportation and persecution
04:35of Rohingya in Myanmar and Bangladesh.
04:38It generally takes around three months to rule on issuing an arrest warrant.
04:42A spokesperson for Myanmar's ruling junta did not answer calls for comment.
04:47More than 730,000 Rohingya Muslims have fled to Bangladesh during the campaign which the
04:52United Nations investigators said was carried out with genocidal intent.
04:56Buddhist-majority Myanmar denies accusations of genocide,
05:00saying it carried out military operations against terrorists.
05:04Myanmar is not a member of the treaty-based ICC, but the court has jurisdiction over
05:08alleged cross-border crimes that partially took place in neighboring ICC member Bangladesh.
05:15Filipino craftsmanship shines in Hollywood as talented milliner Harvey Santos makes the
05:20iconic hat of Wicked character Alfa Bethrop, played by Cinzia Erivo, in the new movie.
05:25The pleated hat is built using intricately textured fabric with ruffles along each crease.
05:31Working on Wicked, Santos says he found millinery enjoyable.
05:35Every day, I'm proud of what I have accomplished,
05:38and knowing the fact that you're contributing on an epic film, that's very exhilarating.
05:44In a featurette posted by Universal Pictures, he shares,
05:48his fascination for costumes started when he was six.
05:51He used to be a ballet dancer for the Hong Kong Ballet.
05:54He had a major exhibit during the 2018 London Fashion Week,
05:57which was visited by Queen Elizabeth II.
