00:00Season 87 of the UAAP Cheer Dance Competition will be held on December 1.

00:05Let's find out the results from the report of our teammate, Jamaica Bayaka.

00:12UAAP Cheer Dance Competition is full of colors, energy, and beautiful music.

00:21In the combination of cheer and dance steps,

00:25the fans will surely be excited with the performance of each member.

00:29Three days before the start of the new season of the UAAP Cheer Dance Competition,

00:36the eight universities are ready to fight for the title.

00:40The theme of their performance is divided by the judges,

00:44who are waiting to see where they will give a twist and a unique concept to their performance.

00:52Ateneo Blue Eagles will perform first in their universe theme,

00:57which is followed by the UEPEP Squad.

00:59UST Salenggawi Dance Group will also show off their 90s concept,

01:05which is followed by the Adamson Pep Squad.

01:07Meanwhile, UP Varsity Pep Squad will perform fifth,

01:12which is followed by the NUPEP Squad in the theme of Outer Space.

01:16The DLSU Animu Squad will perform second and last.

01:21From the concept of Super Mario,

01:24the defending champion F.E.U. Cheering Squad will finally show off their frozen team.

01:30At the press conference held yesterday,

01:33Technical Head Paola Nunag pointed out that they will continue the criteria they started last year,

01:41but the concepts that will be included in the competition will be more strict.

01:46Criteria will be the same, right?

01:49As it has been for the last couple of years.

01:53It will be basic, the stunting, the pyramids,

01:59then you'll have tumbling, then you'll have tosses.

02:03So those are the specific cheer skills that we will be looking for.

02:08According to the head coach of the defending champion F.E.U. Cheering Squad,

02:12even though there is pressure from her as a coach,

02:14they will still show their best performance in the match.

02:19When you think of a defending champion,

02:23you need to at the very least come up with a great performance.

02:29In other words, the victory is in the bonus.

02:32But the pressure is always that you need to perform better,

02:39or the best, because people are expecting it.

02:43And especially our community, they really have high hopes that

02:55so that F.E.U. will be able to create its own dynasty.
