00:07a third of households experience slow or no internet in certain areas of their homes.
00:14These areas are often referred to as not-spots. This is a significant concern as 65% of consumers
00:21now view reliable connectivity as essential for daily life. The frustration is palpable
00:28with 86% of those affected finding it disruptive and 46% describing it as very frustrating.
00:36Furthermore, poor connectivity impacts online shopping behaviour as nearly one in five consumers
00:43will abandon a website if it doesn't load within seconds, leading to lost sales, with
00:49two-thirds of people believing internet providers should do more to resolve these issues. It
00:55raises an important question for the UK. Are our internet services good enough and
01:00more importantly, are they good value?
