00:00Okay, right. Good afternoon everyone. Thank you for attending this auspicious day. We're in
00:05Rawdon Skate Park. It's great pride and excitement that we gather here today to
00:10mark the beginning of a project that promises to bring inspiration and opportunity to our community
00:15Rawdon Skate Park. This moment represents more than just the start of construction,
00:20it symbolises the Town Council's belief in investing in its people and particularly
00:25investing in youth. The skate park is a place where creativity will flourish,
00:31friendships will be forged and energy will be released in the most thrilling and dynamic ways.
00:36I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who has played a role in making this project
00:39reality. Our sponsors, everyone who contributed to the crowdfunding campaign, my fellow Town
00:45Councillors and our Town Hall staff and of course the skating community who so passionately voiced
00:51their vision for this space. As we turn the first sod today, we're not just breaking ground,
00:56we are building a legacy. A legacy of inclusion, activity and pride in our town for generations to
01:03come. Thank you all for your commitment. It stands as a testament to what we can achieve and
01:08accomplish when we come together with a shared purpose. Let's grab those shovels and get started.
