00:00The National Crime Agency says Mr. San Diego was found at a property in a rural
00:05area next to woodland in Conwy County yesterday during an operation supported
00:10by North Wales Police and counter-terrorist police after being on
00:14the FBI's most wanted list for two decades. The FBI says the 46-year-old has
00:19links to animal rights extremist groups and was first accused of bombing a
00:23biotechnology center in Emeryville in California in August 2003 in which two
00:29bombs went off. A third bomb made with metal nails exploded outside a
00:34nutritional products company in Pleasanton, California less than a month
00:38later. The FBI then described him as the first domestic terrorist to be added to
00:43its most wanted list alongside international terrorists such as Osama
00:47bin Laden. The FBI's director Christopher Wray said the arrest two decades later
00:52shows that no matter how long it takes the FBI will find you and hold you
00:57accountable. Mr. San Diego appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court earlier
01:02today and was remanded in custody. He now faces extradition to the United States
01:07to face charges.
