00:00Let's go to your rankings.
00:04You have the top 14, Ole Miss finds themselves out after a loss against Florida in which
00:11Jackson Dart threw a couple of really rough interceptions.
00:15Ole Miss, I think you, I both agree is a good team, but they've dropped too many games at
00:20this point, even though Florida is playing like one of the best teams in the country
00:23at the moment.
00:24You have Oregon, Ohio State, Texas as your top three, and I'll let you take it from there.
00:29Five Penn State, Notre Dame, Miami, Georgia.
00:33That's where it starts to get a little funky as you start to rank them.
00:36Yeah, that top seven, I think you're going to find the national champion on that side
00:41right there.
00:42You know, Notre Dame is really trending upward.
00:44I don't even think about the Northern Illinois loss anymore.
00:46I think about how they've looked the last five weeks, dominant on both sides.
00:50Jeremiah Love is emerging as a superstar running back in the game too, the way they handled
00:56Army.
00:57Georgia is the interesting one for me because, okay, their A game is national championship
01:03caliber.
01:05Their bad game is really bad.
01:07When they're turning the ball over, they could get knocked out in the first round, but they
01:10are one of those schools equipped to make that run.
01:13So you'll find the national champion, six of those seven teams, I wouldn't include Miami
01:17as a serious national title contender, although I love their offense and they have the one
01:22quarterback among that top half.
01:25That is a true difference maker.
01:27Cam Ward can carry a team maybe to a playoff victory or two, but Cam Ward doesn't play
01:32defense and special teams and everywhere else.
01:34You know what I mean?
01:35So I think that Miami team might have some trouble getting in if they lose another game.
01:41Yeah.
01:42All right.
01:43So the back half important here, you have Indiana, Tennessee, SMU, Boise State, Arizona
01:49State who's really played themselves into it.
01:51Iowa State and BYU on the outside looking in at A&M is obviously out of the mix now
01:56as well after dropping that game to Auburn.
01:59You have Indiana firmly in.
02:01Do you feel like as the rankings come out tonight that they'll be a little bit more
02:05tenuous than you having them in by a few spots?
02:09They might be down a spot or two, but I mean, they are in based on Ole Miss having that
02:14third loss and Alabama having that third loss.
02:18You know, this allows the committee to keep Indiana in and put Tennessee in with two losses
02:24and they can see them that way and say, see, look, we were fair and I think they will do
02:29that.
02:30The Big 12 is very interesting to me and the other placement is Boise State as of tonight
02:34will probably have a first round bye.
02:36They will be placed ahead of whoever the projected Big 12 champion is, but I think once that
02:42Big 12 team wins the Big 12 champion chip, they'll go right ahead of Boise State because
02:47Boise State, let's be honest, they've struggled the last couple of weeks.
02:50They barely beat Wyoming in week 13.
