00:00Public servants have ranked the best and worst government departments to work in
00:04and the results probably won't shock you. So just 60% of Home Affairs staff said
00:09that they would recommend the department as a good place to work in but it was an
00:13improvement from last year where 57% said that they liked working at the
00:17mega agency. So ranking among the worst workplaces to be in was Services
00:21Australia and the Department of Veterans Affairs which less than 70% of staff said
00:27that they liked working there. On the brighter side the Treasury has taken
00:30home the award for the best public service workplace of 2024 stealing the
