00:05all i want for christmas is for teenage girls in afghanistan to be able to go back to school

00:09all i want for christmas is for america to do better 2023 let's go

00:20if we don't have the right to control what it is we do with our own bodies

00:23we don't have the right to control what it is that we do with our own lives and regardless

00:28of the state or the country or the body that you're born into we all deserve the right to

00:34make our own life-changing decisions and to decide for ourselves how it is we want to spend our time

00:40on this earth all i want for christmas is for america school children to stop dying in the

00:45schoolhouse being an oxford high school shooting survivor it's all i've wanted especially for the

00:50past year and we should all want the same thing for our children because children deserve to feel

00:55safe all i want for christmas is a fair contract that promotes a safe and equitable working

01:01environment for strippers as well as an end to racist and discriminatory hiring and firing

01:06practices i want women and girls in iran and everywhere to be able to choose what to wear

01:11without being judged labeled jailed or murdered for it i want for our churches our schools our

01:17parks our parades our common meeting areas in between to not become burial grounds and not be

01:22hunting grounds in america constantly all i want this holiday season is to create a culture where

01:28people know how to show up for those of us who are grieving and aren't scared to say or do the

01:33wrong thing i want to help normalize talking about grief and i want the world to know that 5.6

01:40million children will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the time they're 18

01:45the time is now to show up for all of the grieving kids in our lives my wish for christmas is that if

01:52there's anybody out there who feels like there's no hope that you please don't quit five minutes

01:57before the miracle because miracles do happen merry christmas everybody all i want for christmas is

02:03for our country to base their politics on a more utilitaristic ethic system which is the very simple

02:09principle of the right action is the one that causes the most happiness and more importantly

02:14in politics the least amount of suffering for every sentient being i want women and girls

02:18everywhere to know that they and they alone have the power to decide their futures nobody else has

02:24that power i want girls to know that they're more valuable than the honor of the men in their family

02:30i want girls to know they can do anything boys can do and they're powerful just as they are
