00:10during the COVID-19 pandemic. Demonstrators condemned the inability of Ayuso to deal with
00:15the COVID-19 emergency for it claimed the lives of dozens of elderly people. Demonstrators also
00:20blamed the judiciary for failing to open an investigation into this matter to bring justice
00:24for the deceased. The people participating in the protest also expressed their condolences to the
00:29families of the elderly victims of this COVID-19 pandemic.
00:42We are in pain out of helplessness, for we must try to allow families to grieve,
00:46but with justice being served. Ayuso thought best not to transfer elderly patients
00:54thinking they ought to die. And yes, the elderly will eventually die.
01:02But when it may be their turn, not because somebody's fault, negligence or abandonment.
01:09What happens is that the justice system is highly politicized in favor of the right.
01:13And furthermore, these people on the right don't care to destroy all institutions in order to
01:19prevail. In the Madrid Assembly, we have a president who not only tries to silence
01:29what happened to those 7,291 elderly people during the pandemic because of her protocols,
01:37but also she despises the victims and the relatives as demonstrated by the way she
01:44conducted herself in the plenary of the Assembly, where I asked her to apologize
01:49to the relatives she had insulted. Not only she did not apologize, but she confronted them.
