00:00The Agriculture Department will hold a two-day expo
00:04on the achievements of the President's Executive Office
00:07for the target of food security of the country.

00:15The Executive Office of the President's Exhibition
00:19will be held in the Philippine International Convention Center
00:22or PICC
00:23from November 26 to November 28.
00:26According to the Agriculture Department,
00:28the Executive Office of the President's Exhibition
00:30aims to highlight the achievements
00:32of the program since 2022.
00:34This includes farmer cooperatives,
00:38retailers, and resellers.
00:40It also includes other agencies
00:42that help our farmers and fishermen.
00:46The importance of the program
00:48to the food security of the country
00:50will also be emphasized here.

00:54directly sell their products
00:56to their families.
00:58The Executive Office of the President's Exhibition
01:00is located in the Bureau of Plant Industry

01:18at the PICC tent in Pasay.

01:22not only our farmer cooperatives,
01:24but also the Executive Office of the President's Exhibition

01:28like DTI, DILG,
01:30DOLE, DSAWD,
01:32PCO, and PMS.
01:34It also includes
01:36our department agencies
01:38in the DA that provide
01:40programs for our
01:42farmers and fishermen.
01:44Meanwhile, in the midst
01:46of the upcoming typhoon,
01:48the Department of Agriculture
01:50announced the continuous
01:52indemnification payment or insurance claim
01:54of the fishermen
01:56affected by the calamity.
01:58As of today,
02:00the PCIC has already paid
02:02more than P451 million pesos
02:06to almost
02:0849,000 beneficiaries
02:10or farmers and fishermen
02:12affected by the calamity.
02:14We expect
02:16the payment to continue.
02:18We expect that
02:20to reach
02:22P667 million.
02:24And the other calamities
02:26that affected our fishermen
02:28will continue to be validated
02:30by the PCIC.
02:32For those who are not
02:34insured, their farms or fisheries,
02:36the Department of Agriculture
02:38said they can receive
02:40free rice,
02:42vegetables, and fat
02:44from the government.
02:46There is also a quick response fund,
02:48survival and recovery loan,
02:50as well as free intervention
02:52from the government.
