The Madani Government's success over the past two years is attributed to political stability, clear policies, and the dedication of civil servants, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Speaking at the government's second-anniversary celebration on Saturday (Nov 23), Anwar highlighted the public's willingness to collaborate with the government to elevate Malaysia on the global stage.

Anwar expressed confidence in the current leadership and the capabilities of civil servants and enforcement bodies to advance the nation and combat systemic corruption.

00:00Let's go, Mas Ali!
00:02Let's go, Mas Ali!
00:04Let's go, Mas Ali!
00:06Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Assalamu'alaikum.
00:09I am not afraid to state all the achievements,
00:13because this is in the report that we have given.
00:18And of course, there is room for improvement.
00:23But one statement must be remembered.
00:26This is possible because of a stable political system.
00:33And that stability is due to the cooperation of state leaders.
00:39That is why I ask the ministers to be present in this room.
00:46And not just one room.
00:48It should be directly with the ministers.
00:51And this is also a sign that the members of the ministers
00:55have given a high contribution, a good service to the country.
01:03In terms of the implementation of these activities,
01:07the program fulfills the desires of the country.
01:11Because there are many good things that have been done.
01:16And the effect of this basic implementation
01:20is due to the commitment of the civil servants
01:26who show their willingness to make reforms and changes
01:32and much faster implementation now.
01:38And as a trading country,
01:40which is successful because of our efforts
01:45to export our traditional goods,
01:50such as palm oil,
01:52to the agricultural industry,
01:54but also to the industrial sector,
01:57and now as a semiconductor as a hub.
02:01Of course, the policy of the leaders,
02:05the civil servants,
02:07and the private sector
02:10have the effort to cut back
02:14and enter new and challenging steps and fields.
02:20So, the private sector in the role and attitude of this country
02:27also has a very critical role to play.
02:31Because of their skills and expertise,
02:34we only become prisoners,
02:37slaves,
02:39to speed up the process.
02:42But the most interesting and important thing
02:46is the workforce among the people,
02:51whether workers or farmers or fishermen,
02:58who show their willingness to succeed
03:01and make Malaysia a great country,
03:05well-known, respected,
03:07and fight for their own destiny.
03:09So, I have to emphasize here
03:11that while we only display the ideas of the leaders,
03:19it will not mean if there is no readiness of the elite forces
03:27to work together with other countries,
03:31from Perlis to Sabah, Sarawak, Johor,
03:34and all the other countries.
03:36I'm sorry to say that I'm a bit old now.
03:38I'm 79 years old now.
03:41I was born in Rendong, but I left Rendong when I was 9 years old.
03:44And I've been living in Kelantan, Tengganu,
03:48Pahang, Johor, and everywhere else.
03:52In this movement,
03:54including the Convention on Public Works,
03:58today and tomorrow,
04:00we must emphasize what is our new plan.
04:05Yes, there is a problem.
04:07There is still a lot of debt.
04:10Inflation and corruption are still happening.
04:15But if you ask me,
04:17as I said before,
04:19what is special in this movement?
04:23It is the firmness of leadership,
04:26which started in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
04:29to place every public fund,
04:33every procurement,
04:37must go through a thorough process,
04:39a thorough tender,
04:41and not allow corruption and misuse of power,
04:47such as what happened in Kelantan, Tengganu.
04:51For me, this is not easy.
04:54It requires a clear political stance,
04:57and cooperation from all parties.
05:00Mr. Speaker,
05:01I admire the actions of the leaders,
05:06such as the PDRM, SPRM, and LHDN.
05:11They can't do this.
05:13You have wealth, you have influence,
05:16you pay the debt,
05:18you have wealth, you have influence,
05:20you can't get even 10 billion.
05:23No one can touch it.
05:25That must end with this government,
05:28Madadini, now.
05:34And I know,
05:35that is why in the Qur'an,
05:37it is not explained,
05:39And do not cover the truth with falsehood.
05:43And do not conceal the truth,
05:45and you do not know.
05:48Don't we try, Mr. Speaker,
05:51let us know.
05:53If there is a weakness,
05:54we accept the weakness.
05:56If we want to improve,
05:57we improve.
05:59But we can't get away,
06:02get away from the truth and falsehood.
06:06I see the sincerity of Madadini
06:11to clean up the country.
06:14From its bad habits,
06:17practices,
06:19corruption,
06:20which has almost become
06:22systemic in the country.
06:25In the past,
06:26no matter where in the world,
06:28Malaysia was known as
06:30a corrupt country.
06:35We can erase it.
06:37If we insist on this foundation,
06:40with a clear foundation,
06:42working as a team,
06:44give me just a few more years,
06:47I am sure,
06:51I am not saying Astaghfirullah,
06:54I am sure,
06:56if Malaysia at this stage,
06:59really works,
07:02because those who give spirit,
07:06it is true that I went to Egypt,
07:08I met with Abdul Fattah Sisi,
07:10the president.
07:11But those who work,
07:13Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
07:14meetings,
07:15Ministry of Education,
07:16higher education,
07:18all of these have done work
07:21that allows me to be introduced
07:25and then,
07:26solve some issues that arise.
07:31So, I have never considered
07:34the contribution
07:36given by the officials
07:40and the people in this area
07:42is not true.
07:44But we have to remember,
07:47we all have to be ready
07:49to improve.
07:51Therefore, now,
07:53aside from the FRA,
07:56the National Responsibility Act,
07:58the Audit Board,
07:59the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
08:03the Ministry of Home Affairs,
08:05for me,
08:06these are all the agenda reforms
08:09that we are implementing.
08:11There are people who make assessments,
08:13aside from this,
08:15because corruption is the number 10
08:19in the category of assessment.
08:22The number 1, I don't know what it is.
08:26Therefore,
08:27we should not only be brought
08:29with negative sentiments.
08:33I am still convinced,
08:35assuming,
08:37after seeing our ability
08:40in the past two years,
08:42with the troops,
08:44and the civil service,
08:47and the private sector,
08:49and the enthusiasm of young people
08:51in the training,
08:53if we can continue
08:55to improve a little more,
08:57what is said in the term of management,
09:00a little more,
09:02I am sure, God willing,
09:05we can give space,
09:07we can see the face of Malaysia
09:09in the country,
09:11and in the world of terrorism,
09:13the world of terrorism,
09:14we will see Malaysia
09:15that is brave,
09:16that is new,
09:17that is great, God willing.
