00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. once again assured that the victims of the typhoon will be able to rely on the help of the government and the private sector
00:09for them to be able to get back on their feet.
00:11The details are in the national news of Kenneth Paciente of PTV Manila.
00:17President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has headed to the North despite the impact of the typhoons.
00:23First, he went to the province of Nueva Vizcaya where the typhoon Pepito hit hard.
00:29The President has asked for cash assistance from the Office of the President which is worth 50 million pesos.
00:35According to the President, this will be used by the beneficiaries for their compensation for the damaged houses and other damages.
00:43Every family has their own needs that are not included in the food pack, medical kit, or what we give.
00:53That's why we will give cash to the victims so that they can use it, so that they can buy their needs.
01:03Aside from this, 2.5 million pesos from the DSWD for the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation Program
01:11where 500 beneficiaries received a total of 5,000 pesos.
01:16The President was also the first to share the family food pack from the DSWD for the 1,000 beneficiaries.
01:23He assured that this will continue until the affected residents can return to their homes.
01:29The Executive Board also emphasized that the supply of FFPs should be sufficient
01:33through the whole-of-government approach and with the help of the private sector.
01:38That's why it's very important that our supply is sufficient and that we continue to produce it.
01:44I always remember that due to the number of earthquakes and the number of victims, it's hard for us to get rid of it.
01:55That's why we are bringing all of this together because what we will do is,
02:00from now on, we will continue to distribute these relief goods until our countrymen are no longer in need.

02:31Currently, according to the President, the DA is assisting the Pinsalang Iniwan ng Bagyo in the province when it comes to agriculture
02:37so that the assistance will be available to the affected farmers.
02:41We will ask the local government to create a list of farmer beneficiaries because we need assistance.
02:57We have cash assistance for the farmers. We also have non-cash assistance.
03:05The President also inspected the Bypass Road in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya,
03:08where the Pinsalang Iniwan ng Bagyo received a total of P15.5 million.
03:12The President ordered the construction of this road and he wanted the structure to be strong
03:18so that it won't be damaged by the upcoming earthquakes.
