00:00There was actually no reason for me to say no.
00:07I have done a film with Balakrishna sir before, which is the most successful film of my career.
00:14I did Akhanda with Balakrishna sir.
00:16So obviously there's a huge amount of respect for him as a person, as a professional.
00:21So working with him again is, I think, the greatest opportunity.
00:26And then I know Bobby sir since a very, very long time.
00:29I mean, there's a funny story.
00:32He's the first director that I ever met with, you know, before I even started doing films.
00:38So working with Bobby sir has been a dream since I can't even tell you how many years.
00:43So finally, I got a call for one of his films, that too with Balakrishna sir.
00:47And it's a very powerful, impactful role.
00:50Very different.
00:51I know it may sound a bit cliche, but genuinely very different from anything that I've done
00:55before.
00:56Very challenging.
00:57So, yeah, I just wanted to take up the challenge, try something new out.
01:02Fingers crossed.
01:03I hope my risk works out.
01:11The role is very challenging.
01:13It's extremely different from anything that I am or anything that I've played before in
01:18any of my films.
01:20It's completely de-glam.
01:23And I, as a person, I feel like I'm very glam.
01:26I like to dress up.
01:27I like to look a certain way.
01:29But in that film, there is literally no makeup, no hair, you know, all these beautifications
01:35that we do.
01:36Nothing.
01:37I had to kind of dull down even more than, you know, how I wake up in the morning.
01:41Not even that.
01:42They had to like really dull me down because it's in a terrain which is not like where
01:47we live now.
01:50You will see more and I'll be able to tell you more once we have at least the trailer
01:54coming out.
01:55But it's a very new zone and a very new sort of character that I'm exploring in the film.
02:03And I can't wait for the world to watch it.
02:11Working with Balakrishna sir is a great pleasure.
02:14He is, I think, one of the most respectful person I've ever worked with.
02:19He is so passionate about his work.
02:22It seems like, you know, working with him, it feels like there is so much to learn.
02:28He comes like with so much positive energy every day on set, like it's his first day
02:33on shoot, you know.
02:35So his childlike energy, enthusiasm, passion is infectious.
02:40So you know, working with him is a great pleasure and honor.
02:45And there is so much to learn from him every single day on set.
02:54Basically, I mean, I have no idea how Bobby sir even saw me in this character, but I'm
02:58glad he did because it's going to be, I think, a very challenging role for me.
03:03And I mean, I'm just grateful that he chose me to be Kaveri.

03:08I'm just telling you the name of the character.
03:10I'm playing Kaveri in the film.
03:12And I'm just glad that he could see me as a part of his vision.
03:18And just to be a part of this magnanimous project is just a great privilege.
03:29It's different from the previous roles.
03:31Like you said, it's going to be supremely D-glam and it's very performance oriented.
03:37So it's not just glamour, songs.
03:40You know, the typical heroine things that we do in certain films, which also I absolutely
03:44love truly.
03:46But this is going to be very different from that.
03:48It is only pure performance in this film.
03:51So yeah, after, you know, a super glam fashionista, IRS, like, you know, this billionaire's daughter
03:59in Khel Khel Mein, to this super D-glam, absolutely opposite sort of a role in Daku is, I think,
04:08universe is just giving me a lot of chances to show my versatility.
04:13So just grateful that I'm playing two completely opposite characters in the same year.
04:23Firstly, just being a part of Khel Khel Mein is an absolute honour and privilege.
04:28And I consider myself so blessed to be a part of this film.
04:32It's such a beautiful story of very realistic sort of things that happen in today's times
04:39between couples.
04:40So grateful to be a part of the film and to be working, to have gotten a chance to work
04:46with Mudassar.
04:47He's a wonderful director, phenomenal writer.
04:51And to work with this entire star cast, there was so much to learn from each one of them
04:57every single day.
04:58So just truly grateful and blessed to have been a part of Khel Khel Mein.
