00:00In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful, all praise is due to Allah in the earth and in the heavens, and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the Most Generous of the Generous, and upon his family and companions, and upon his leadership, and upon his scholars.
00:30Dear listeners, once again we are here with the program Asr-e-Hadir and Ahkaam-e-Deen.
00:37As you know, in this program, we discuss a topic every time.
00:42During this time, your calls are entertained, your queries are addressed, and your questions are answered directly in the light of the book of Sunnah.
00:52So, today we have chosen a topic, and as you know, our topic in the previous program and in the previous program was the Ahkaam-e-Naam.
01:02So, today we will continue this topic, the Ahkaam-e-Naam.
01:06We have received a lot of queries on this topic, some of which we addressed in the previous program, and some in the previous episode.
01:13And the remaining queries, God willing, we will address today with regards to the Ahkaam-e-Naam.
01:19We have received this in one query.
01:20The question is, who has a fundamental right to name a child.
01:26So who is going to name the child, a parent, or the mother, or a grandfather, or a grandmother, or a grandfather, or a grandmother, or someone else?
01:35Who has the fundamental right to name a child?
01:41So, keeping the name of the child is basically the right of the father.
01:45Neither of the grandfather, nor of the grandmother, nor of the grandfather, nor of the grandmother, nor of the mother.
01:48Basically, this is the right of the father.
01:51It is also mentioned in the Hadith.
01:52The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
01:55مَنْ وُلِدَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَلْ يُحْسِنْ اِسْمَةٌ
01:58Whoever has a child, let that man keep a good name for him.
02:03In light of this Hadith and other narrations, the jurists deduced that
02:07the name of the child will be kept by the father.
02:18This is the fundamental right of the father.
02:20However, if the father is willing to keep another child's name,
02:25for example, the grandfather, or the grandmother, or the grandfather, or the grandmother,
02:29or if the mother wants to keep another child's name, and the father is willing to do so,
02:33then they can also keep the name.
02:35But the fundamental right is that of the father.
02:37And if there is a disagreement,
02:40if the father says that he will keep this name,
02:42and the other relative says that he will keep this name,
02:44then the father will be given priority,
02:47and the father's words will be given importance.
02:49But the social aspect,
02:52because our religion teaches us that we have to live together,
02:55and we should give importance to each other's words,
02:58we should give importance to each other's opinions,
03:00and we should also consult each other.
03:03If there is a disagreement regarding the name of the child,
03:08then it should be resolved in an appropriate manner,
03:10in a friendly and understanding environment.
03:12And we should compromise with mutual consent.
03:16This is a good thing.
03:18But it should be kept in mind that
03:20while keeping a name,
03:22you cannot keep an illicit name.
03:24Or you cannot keep a name
03:26that the Shariah has forbidden,
03:28or that it is an illicit name.
03:30You should compromise with mutual consent.
03:32If the child's father,
03:34or the child's grandfather,
03:36says that he will keep his name,
03:38or the child's grandfather says that he will keep his name,
03:40then it should be kept in mind
03:42that the name should be correct,
03:44and that it should be legal.
03:46If the name is not correct,
03:48and it is an illicit name,
03:50or it is an illicit name
03:52that the Shariah has forbidden,
03:54then in this case,
03:56there will be no compromise.
03:58Because the heart of the creature
04:00is within the boundaries of the Shariah.
04:06In the disobedience of the Creator,
04:08there is no obedience of any creature.
04:10No one's obedience is permissible
04:12if there is an aspect of disobedience of the Creator.
04:14The commandment of Allah and the Messenger of Allah
04:16has superiority.
04:18Anyway,
04:20the Supreme Law is the same.
04:22If there is a situation of conflict
04:24with the commandment of Allah and the Messenger of Allah,
04:26then in this case,
04:28there will be no obedience of anyone.
04:30It is under the commandment of Allah.
04:32So, if it is correct,
04:34and it is not an illicit name,
04:36then it is better
04:38that it should not be made a cause of dispute
04:40in the matter of keeping the name,
04:42and this problem should be solved
04:44with mutual agreement.
04:46Anyway, the Shariah issue
04:48is in its place.
04:50The fundamental right of the father
04:52is the fundamental right of the father.
04:54So, it is the father's right
04:56to make the decision.
04:58There is another query.
05:00Before that, we have a caller with us.
05:02Let's call the caller and then
05:04I will come to the second query.
05:06Peace be upon you.
05:08Peace be upon you too.
05:10Qari Sahib, my question is that
05:12the Prophet did not offer Salah
05:14in the mosque without an imam.
05:16That's right.
05:18Nowadays, people offer Jummah Salah
05:20without an imam.
05:22So, will this be against the Sunnah
05:24or the Sunnah?
05:26Let me tell you.
05:30Alright.
05:32Sir,
05:34I was requesting that
05:36you should include my question
05:38in the end of the callers.
05:40You should stay connected.
05:42Inshallah, your question will be answered.
05:44I am addressing the queries
05:46about the topic.
05:48Inshallah, your question will be included.
05:50The first question is
05:52when will the child be named?
05:54Who has the right
05:56to name the child?
05:58We understood that.
06:00The second question is
06:02when will the child be named?
06:04When should the child be named?
06:06According to the Hadith,
06:08the child will be named
06:10on the seventh day
06:12and the child's name
06:14will be named on the seventh day.
06:16In the third Hadith,
06:18The child will be named on the seventh day
06:20and the child's name
06:22will be named on the seventh day.
06:24Every child is
06:26born with a child
06:28and on the seventh day
06:30the child will be born
06:32as a child
06:34and the child's head
06:36will be shaved
06:38and the child's name
06:40will be named.
06:42This is mentioned in the Hadith
06:44and Imam Tirmidhi
06:46has confirmed this.
06:48So, in light of this Hadith,
06:50the jurists have suggested
06:52that the child's name
06:54should be named on the seventh day.
06:56However, if someone
06:58names the child before the seventh day
07:00or after the seventh day,
07:02then it is permissible.
07:04The best option is to name the child
07:06on the seventh day.
07:08Assalamu Alaikum.
07:10Walaikum Assalam.
07:12I am calling from Pindi.
07:14They say that honeybees
07:16sleep close to the milk
07:18and this is why they are sweet.
07:20Is this true or not?
07:22Okay.
07:28Yes.
07:30There is one more caller.
07:32Assalamu Alaikum.
07:34Assalamu Alaikum.
07:36Walaikum Assalam.
07:38Sir, I want to know
07:40that when I offer prayer,
07:42My heart and mind are filled with thoughts of death, death and the things that have happened to me many years ago.
07:51Why do these thoughts come to my mind?
07:53I don't pay attention to my prayers.
07:57Ok, I will tell you more.
07:59Ok, so I was requesting that the name of the child will be given on the 7th day.
08:05This is what has been said in the hadith.
08:07This is according to the Prophet of Allah.
08:09However, if the name is given before the 7th day or even after the 7th day, then it is permissible.
08:16It is not a sin to do so.
08:17But the best thing is that the name should be given on the 7th day.
08:19Similarly, if the name of the child is given even before the birth of the child.
08:23Sometimes the parents wish to decide the name of the child.
08:27If a boy or a girl is born, then this name will be given.
08:30Or if a girl is born, then this name will be given.
08:32So, if the name is given before the 7th day, then it is permissible.
08:38The best thing is that the name should be given on the 7th day.
08:41However, if the parents wish to decide the name of the child even before the birth of the child, then it is permissible.
08:46Secondly, if the name is given before the birth of the child, then it is permissible.
08:51Now, after the birth of the child, if the name can be changed or not, then it can be changed.
08:58This is the decision of the person.
09:00If it is his own decision, then the person can declare his decision tomorrow.
09:04It is not necessary to follow this.
09:07It is not a command of any book or Sunnah.
09:09It is the person's own choice.
09:11He liked a name.
09:13If my child is born, then I will keep this name.
09:16Now, when the child is born, his mind has changed.
09:19He says, I will keep this name, not this name.
09:21Or he likes some other name.
09:23Or his wife says, let's keep this name.
09:26And the child's father says, let's change the name of the child's mother.
09:30So, this can be done.
09:32It is not necessary that if you have decided a name for the child before birth,
09:38then you can change it later.
09:41You have the option to change it.
09:43It can be changed.
09:45Then we received a query that if the child is born dead,
09:51then in this case, will his name be kept or not?
09:55The answer to this is that whether the child is born alive or dead,
10:00the name of the child will be kept.
10:03This is the right of the child.
10:05Muftah also says the same thing.
10:07If the child is born alive and died as soon as he was born,
10:11that is, he was born alive, but died as soon as he was born,
10:14then in this case, his funeral prayer will also be offered.
10:17All the life-giving commandments will be issued on him.
10:19The name will also be kept.
10:20Uthal will also be given.
10:21Takween will also be given.
10:22But if the child was born dead,
10:25when he was born, there were no signs of life.
10:28He was born dead.
10:29In this case, the funeral prayer will not be offered
10:32and there is no burial shroud.
10:34He will just be wrapped in a clean cloth,
10:35washed and buried.
10:37But the name will be kept.
10:39The name will be kept in both cases.
10:40Muftah also says the same thing.
10:42Because of the blessings of Banu Adam.
10:44When the child is born,
10:45then after birth, he is a human being, he is life.
10:48So there is a prohibition of Banu Adam's life.
10:50In view of that prohibition, his name will be kept.
10:53And on the Day of Judgment, he will be called by his name.
10:57This is the matter of the birth of this child.
11:00Whether the child was born dead or alive,
11:02the name will be kept.
11:03Similarly, if the pregnancy was wasted,
11:05the unborn child, which is called Saqetona,
11:07if the unborn child is Saqet,
11:08then his name can also be kept.
11:11And if it is not known that
11:13the child was wasted,
11:16whether it was a boy or a girl,
11:18then in this case,
11:19such a name should be kept
11:20which is used for both names,
11:22which is common,
11:23which is used for both men and women,
11:25for both children and girls.
11:26Like Shameem, Mumtaz, Rahat, Naseem.
11:30These are such names
11:31which are used for both boys and girls.
11:34So in this case,
11:35if this gender is not determined,
11:37then in this case,
11:38such a name can be kept.
11:40Then after that, we got a query
11:43that the name was kept for the child.
11:45Now, for some reason,
11:47they want to change the name of the child.
11:49So can the name be changed or not?
11:51And is there a tenure for this?
11:53Is there a time period
11:54that the name can be changed for so long
11:56and after that the name cannot be changed
11:58or the name can be changed whenever desired?
12:00So see,
12:01the name of the child can be changed.
12:04There is no tenure for this.
12:06There is no fixed period
12:07that within so many days,
12:09the name can be changed
12:10and after that,
12:11the name cannot be changed.
12:12There are legal complications in place.
12:14The legal proceedings
12:16or the cases of documents
12:18are obvious.
12:19There are legal matters.
12:20In that, the legal matters
12:21should be followed.
12:22I am talking about the legal matters.
12:24As far as the legal aspect is concerned,
12:25from the legal perspective,
12:26there is no distinction
12:27that after so long,
12:29the name cannot be changed.
12:31The name can be changed
12:32whenever desired in life.
12:33You can change your name yourself.
12:36If the parents want to change the name of the child,
12:38then the parents can also change it.
12:40There is no harm in this.
12:42But there should be some reason
12:44to change it.
12:46I will shed light on this.
12:48There is a short break time here.
12:50I hope you will stay with us.
12:52Welcome back, viewers.
12:54Before going on the break,
12:55we were discussing
12:56whether there is a restriction
12:58to change the name or not.
13:00Is there a fixed tenure?
13:01Can the name be changed
13:02within so many days
13:03and after that,
13:04the name cannot be changed?
13:05I said that
13:06there is no fixed tenure
13:07to change the name.
13:08The name can be changed
13:09whenever desired.
13:10However,
13:11there should be some reason
13:12to change the name.
13:14If the meaning of the name is bad
13:16or the name is weak,
13:18then the name should be changed.
13:20If the name is bad,
13:22then the name should be changed.
13:24If the person does not like the name,
13:26if the person does not like
13:28the name of the person,
13:30if the person's family has left him,
13:32if he has passed away,
13:34or if he wants to change the name,
13:36even if he has not passed away,
13:38but he wants to change the name,
13:40then he can change the name.
13:42The Shariah allows this.
13:44However, there should be some reason.
13:46Some people think that
13:48the name is heavy,
13:50so they change the name.
13:52In the first episode,
13:54I told you in detail
13:56that the name is not heavy
13:58in the sense that
14:00it is related to fate
14:02or it is related to destiny.
14:04If a person has this name,
14:06then his destiny is good.
14:08If he does not have this name,
14:10then his destiny is bad.
14:12Or if he has a special name
14:14then his destiny is bad.
14:16So, I have already told you
14:18that this is superstition.
14:20You should not read it.
14:22You should look at the meaning of the name.
14:24These things matter.
14:26And secondly,
14:28the meaning of the name
14:30should not be so effective.
14:32There is a compatibility
14:34with the name,
14:36a special kind of name.
14:38That is a different aspect.
14:40But if it has anything to do
14:42with the name of a companion
14:44or a prophet
14:46or a saint of Allah
14:48or a sick child
14:50or someone has said
14:52that this name is heavy
14:54so change it,
14:56then it will be fine.
14:58If it is the name of a pious person
15:00or a companion
15:02or an individual
15:04or a prophet
15:06then it is blessed.
15:08The names of pious people
15:10do not have anything to do
15:12with the name.
15:14It has nothing to do
15:16with sickness,
15:18sustenance or livelihood.
15:20Some people think
15:22that the name is like this
15:24and that is why
15:26there are problems.
15:28So, these problems
15:30are not directly related
15:32to the name.
15:34If the name is changed
15:36then all the problems
15:38are not directly related
15:40to the name.
15:42Assalam-o-Alaikum
15:44Assalam-o-Alaikum
15:46Mufti Sahab
15:48Assalam-o-Alaikum
15:50Imam Masjid,
15:52the person who is leading the prayer
15:54should read one or two prayers
15:56after saying Assalam-o-Alaikum
15:58because it is not
16:00that the prayer will be
16:02fasid or it will be
16:04Saida-e-Sahab-ul-Azam.
16:08And?
16:10That's it.
16:12Yes,
16:14I was saying that
16:16the name of the Prophet
16:18or the name of other Prophets
16:20or the name of a Sahabi
16:22or the name of an Ahl-e-Bait
16:24or the name of a pious person
16:26and you are worried
16:28about that name
16:30because it is like this.
16:32If there was a problem in that name
16:34then it would not have been
16:36the name of the Sahabi
16:38of the Prophet of Allah
16:40and if it was,
16:42then the Prophet of Allah
16:44would have changed it
16:46because the Prophet of Allah
16:48used to change bad names.
16:50So the Prophet of Allah
16:52not changing a name
16:54and keeping it
16:56is a proof
16:58that this name is correct
17:00and there is no
17:02problem in it.
17:04So you should be aware
17:06that these problems are happening
17:08because of my name.
17:10If your name is correct
17:12and if your name is not correct
17:14then you should change
17:16that name.
17:18It has nothing to do
17:20with the destiny
17:22but it is true
17:24that if the Shariah
17:26does not like that name
17:28then it is wrong
17:30and you should change
17:32that name
17:34because it is wrong
17:36and it is a sin.
17:38If there is a name
17:40of a sin
17:42then it is wrong
17:44and you should change
17:46that name.
17:48The rest of the names
17:50have nothing to do
17:52with livelihood,
17:54sustenance,
17:56illness,
17:58or worry.
18:00These names
18:02do not create problems
18:04and you should not worry.
18:06Then we got a query
18:08that if someone has
18:10more than one name
18:12then is there a problem
18:14or does Islam forbid it
18:16that if a child
18:18has more than one name
18:20then his parents
18:22or relatives call him
18:24by another name
18:26and that name
18:28becomes famous
18:30and sometimes
18:32one child has two names
18:34in the family
18:36and sometimes
18:38one name is
18:40in the family
18:42and one name is
18:44in the family
18:46and sometimes
18:48one name is
18:50in the family
18:52and sometimes
18:54one name is
18:56in the family
18:58and sometimes
19:00one name is
19:02in the family
19:04and sometimes
19:06one name is
19:08in the family
19:10and sometimes
19:12one name is
19:14in the family
19:16and sometimes
19:18one name is
19:20in the family
19:22and sometimes
19:24one name is
19:26in the family
19:28and sometimes
19:30one name is
19:32in the family
19:34and sometimes
19:36one name is
19:38in the family
19:40and sometimes
19:42one name is
19:44in the family
19:46and sometimes
19:48one name is
19:50in the family
19:52and sometimes
19:54one name is
19:56in the family
19:58and sometimes
20:00one name is
20:02in the family
20:04and sometimes
20:06one name is
20:08in the family

25:43Wa-Alaikum-Salam
25:45Wa-Alaikum-Salam
25:47Before this we were discussing
25:49that in our tradition
25:51when a woman gets married
25:53she names her husband
25:55after the marriage
25:57is it permissible or not?
25:59It is permissible
26:01if her father's name is used
26:03with the name of the woman
26:05it is also permissible
26:07if the husband's name is used
26:09after the marriage
26:11it is also permissible
26:13if the husband's name is used
26:15Some people try to create
26:17a misunderstanding
26:19through this
26:21there are posts
26:23and hadiths
26:25that if a woman
26:27names her husband
26:29after someone else
26:31it is permissible
26:33or it is not permissible
26:35or it is not permissible
26:37or it is not permissible
26:39or it is not permissible
26:41or it is not permissible
26:43If a man is calling himself
26:45a father
26:47or a father-in-law
26:49or a father-in-law
26:51or a father-in-law
26:53or a father-in-law
26:55or a father-in-law
26:57or a father-in-law
26:59or a father-in-law
27:01or a father-in-law
27:03or a father-in-law
27:05or a father-in-law
27:07or a father-in-law
27:09or a father-in-law
27:11So there is no harm
27:13in doing this
27:15The hadiths that have been mentioned
27:17are not related to this
27:19The context of those hadiths
27:21is completely different
27:23and this matter is completely different
27:25and it is not right to
27:27stick to those hadiths
27:29Now the question is
27:31whether a woman can call
27:33her husband by his name
27:35or not
27:37As far as calling is concerned
27:39Most of the women
27:41do not call their husband
27:43by his name
27:45This is a good thing
27:47This is a good thing
27:49This is a good thing
27:51This is a good thing
27:53This is a good thing
27:55This is a good thing

29:21This is a good thing
29:23This is a good thing
29:25This is a good thing
29:27This is a good thing
29:29This is a good thing
29:31Quniyat is
29:33The relation of a person
29:35The relation of a person
29:37By saying Abu
29:39Abu Ahmed or Abu Hamid
29:41or Umm Hamid
29:43Using the word of Umm
29:45or Abu
29:47or Ibn
29:49or Bint
29:51This is called Quniyat
29:53Keeping Quniyat is also permissible
29:55Because it was a custom in Arabs
29:57They used to keep the name of the child
29:59They used to keep Quniyat on the name of the child
30:01The child
30:03The eldest son
30:05Quniyat can be kept on his name
30:07The name of the person is something else
30:09Quniyat is
30:11Umar bin Khattab
30:13His Quniyat is Abu Hafs
30:15Quniyat can be kept on the name of the son
30:17This is also permissible
30:19If someone wants to keep it on the name of the daughter
30:21This is also permissible
30:23If someone wants to keep Quniyat on the name of the younger son
30:25This is also permissible
30:27Quniyat can be kept
30:29And if he is not a child
30:31If someone wants to keep Quniyat
30:33Even then Quniyat can be kept
30:35Umm Al-Min Sayyid Ayesha Siddiqa
30:37Tahira
30:39She did not have any children
30:41But her Quniyat is Umm Abdullah
30:43So it is permissible to keep Quniyat
30:45This is also a way of the name
30:47There is no harm in keeping Quniyat
30:49The rest is that if you are not married
30:51Even a bachelor can keep Quniyat
30:53Even a bachelor can keep Quniyat
30:55This is also proven by Ahadith
30:57Quniyat can be kept
30:59Apart from Quniyat
31:01It is not necessary that
31:03It is related to a person
31:05It can also be related to something other than a person
31:07Like Hazrat Maulana Ali Karam
31:09One Quniyat is Abu Turab
31:11One is Abul Hasan and the other is Abu Turab
31:13The meaning of Abu Turab is not the father
31:15The meaning of Abu Turab is Wala
31:17Abu Turab means the one with mud
31:19The Quniyat of Sadr Abu Huraira
31:21The meaning of Abu Huraira is the one with a cat
31:23Now we come to the answers to the questions of the callers
31:25So first of all, a caller asked us a question
31:27Prophet Kareem A.S.
31:29Has always led the prayer with the Imam
31:31So nowadays we see
31:33Some Khateeb
31:35Or some Imams
31:37That they lead the Friday prayer with the cap
31:39So how to do this
31:41First understand that
31:43Sunnah is of two types
31:45One is Sunan-e-Adiya
31:47Which is called Sunan-e-Mustahabba
31:49And one is Sunan-e-Huda
31:51The Sunan-e-Huda of Prophet Kareem A.S.
31:53Is one way
31:55Which you have adopted as a worship
31:57And one way
31:59Which you have adopted as a habit
32:01So what you have done as a worship
32:03Is called Sunan-e-Huda
32:05What you have done as a habit
32:07Is called Adab
32:09Which is called Sunan-e-Mustahabba
32:11So the way of dress
32:13Which is Imam-e-Sharif
32:15Which is included in Imam-e-Libas
32:17The way of getting up and sitting
32:19So these are the things
32:21Which you have done as a habit
32:23So this is called Sunan-e-Mustahabba
32:25The command of Sunan-e-Mustahabba
32:27Is that if someone does Sunan-e-Mustahab
32:29Then he gets reward
32:31But if someone does not
32:33Then there is no sin
32:35There is no Shari'a
32:37So if someone leads the prayer with Imam-e-Sharif
32:39Then it is a very good thing
32:41But if someone does not lead the prayer with Imam-e-Sharif
32:43But leads the prayer with cap
32:45Then there is no kind of
32:47Salah without cap
32:49So there is nothing to worry about
32:51Then there was a question
32:53That honey bees
32:55We have heard that they
32:57Read Durood-e-Sharif so honey is sweet
32:59So this thing is correct
33:01See in this regard
33:03One thing is famous as a Hadith
33:05That Prophet Mohammad
33:07Asked a honey bee
33:09How do you make honey
33:11He said that we go to different gardens
33:13And suck the juice of different flowers
33:15So he said
33:17If you read Durood-e-Sharif all the way
33:19Then it becomes sweet
33:21So this tradition is mentioned
33:23As a Hadith-e-Rasool
33:25So see this tradition is not
33:27Proven as a Hadith-e-Rasool
33:29It is not present in any
33:31Authenticated book of Hadith
33:33Masnavi-e-Maulana is present in Rome
33:35But not in any book of Hadith
33:37So be careful in matters of Hadith
33:39The book of Hadith is trusted
