00:00There is a high possibility that the country will experience a weak landinia phenomenon
00:05between December and January of the next year.
00:09Explained by Pag-asa Climate Monitoring and Prediction Chief, Anna Solis,
00:14there are places in the Philippines that will experience an above-normal rain
00:19that is centered in the eastern part.
00:21The rains in December are a sign of different weather conditions,
00:26including north-east monsoon, tropical cyclone, and localized thunderstorms.
00:32In total, there will also be an above-normal rainfall in Enero,
00:36especially in the Bicol region and eastern Visayas,
00:40Mimaropa, and southern Luzon.
00:42Low-pressure areas, LPAs, storms, and intertropical convergence zones in Enero are still possible.
00:48The country may also experience one or two storms in December,
00:53and two to eight storms are expected from December to May of the next year.
