00:20She was so docile and so just sweet,
00:24which tells me, like, she probably had a good, like, puppy life.
00:28And when she got older, family that had her probably just neglected her.

00:48So we kept trying to walk away and she wasn't having it.

01:02We kept her overnight. She stayed in my room and she was definitely a little confused.
01:06But she was so sweet and I could tell she was in a lot of pain.
01:20She did so well.
01:22The vet said that she was the nicest dog he's ever seen.
01:27He asked if we would keep her for a few weeks while we try and find a home for her,
01:33just to make sure that she heals right and that she doesn't get back on the streets.
01:38I was like, we have to find her a home because I travel too much.
01:42I'm always moving.
01:44But I actually had a feeling a few months back.

02:08It took a little bit of convincing because obviously we had never met the dog before.
02:12But he eventually said yes.

02:20Her neck healed completely before we flew to Alaska.
02:23Her fur was even starting to grow back.
02:27I got a kennel and everything I needed to fly with her.
02:30We got all of her vaccines.
02:39He works from home. He's an engineer.
02:41So he's just always home, which is another reason I thought they'd be perfect for Taylor.
02:45She has a lot of separation anxiety.
02:48He brings her absolutely everywhere.
02:53He's also a fisherman, so he brings her down to the boat with him.
02:58I think they challenge each other because she's still a puppy.
03:01So he has to train her and learn.
03:04I think they're really happy together.
03:06I really do feel like she chose us because we weren't going to bring her home that night,
03:10but she just kept following us.
03:12It was just perfect.
