Brazil and Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior urges FIFA, CBF and players to step up in the fight against racism
Transcript
00:00This day is very important for everything we've been through, and for everything that CBF, along with FIFA, along with all the players, we are together in this fight so that in the very near future we can have fewer cases of racism.
00:23I know my importance, but I always say that it's a fight for everyone, because I alone can't fight all this that all black people have been suffering.
00:36But I know my size, I know the strength I have in my speech, and I can speak for all those people who have no strength, or who are afraid, or who go through a lot of things, and people don't always believe in what they say.
00:53It's always good to improve, and I believe we're on the right track, because I play in Spain, where I suffered so much, and I still suffer sometimes, but of course it's less with the help of all the clubs, all the people who are doing everything to fight racism, as CBF does.
01:15I always think that any help is very welcome, because black people have been suffering for a long time, and the time has come for all of this to end.
01:30FIFA, which is a very strong name, along with CBF, along with all the players, we have this strength to fight, so let's go together, strong and firm, so that in the very near future the children who are coming into our future have a better life.
