00:00Seahawks beat the Niners 20-17 yesterday. Niners had several opportunities to put this game away.
00:07They took a 17-13 lead with just over nine minutes left to go in the fourth quarter after the Jennings touchdown.
00:12And you talk about sloppy, Cam. That is exactly what the Niners were in this game, but the Seahawks take advantage.
00:20And in the final, not just the final minute, Cam, the final seconds, Geno Smith getting it done on Fox.
00:28Under 20, Smith back to throw. Smith takes off. Geno Smith in zone ahead. Touchdown, Seattle.
00:37With 12 seconds, Geno Smith again puts the Seahawks on his back. And Seattle's got the lead.
00:47How about that? Cam, this is your squad. I got to tell you, when they, a couple of weeks ago, which was right before their bye,
00:57they had lost to the Bills and the Rams at home, right, to get themselves to four and five.
01:03And I thought that they were going to be finished. The tailspin would start.
01:08Man, does that breathe some life back into you when you win a game like that yesterday on the road in your division.
01:14And I got to tell you something, Carver, the parallels between what Josh Allen did and Geno Smith did,
01:19Allen did it in a more impressive way by like knocking guys over.
01:22But if you didn't see that final drive, it was all Geno Smith and Smith and Jigba.
01:26All they did, like, and I'm telling you, like, and remember, their center retired, too.
01:31And he was having problems with the snaps. So they switched it around.
01:34This is very big, Carver. People aren't talking about this.
01:37They lost a lot of games on bad snaps all the time, Geno.
01:39It was nice and clean. And he, when he goes running, he can run.
01:43And I want him to run more. And I'll tell you something.
01:46The Seattle defense stepped up in the game when they needed to.
01:49And you're right. That's the thing about the Niners this year.
01:51They don't put anybody away. Look at the Rams when they came back against them.
01:55That's the thing, man. I don't know what's going on here.
01:57Seattle plays Arizona this week. Huge game.
02:00They're also 1-5 or 1-4-1 ATS at home.
02:05They do their damage on the road, as you see winning in San Francisco.
02:09But things could be different now. The 12th man will still be excited.
02:13We are back in this race. And if they lost that game, it was a must-win game.
02:16And they won, Carver. Very proud of my team, the way I'm proud of your Bills. It was a great game.
02:22Before I talk about how this division stacks up, here's Kyle Shanahan.
02:26Second time this year the Niners have lost at home in the division.
02:29They lost Arizona at home. Now they lose to Seattle at home. Shanahan not thrilled.
02:34Just extremely disappointed that we had a chance to put them away a number of times throughout the game.
02:40I thought the penalties we had on a number of drives just killed us.
02:45I thought we had some good momentum and then had a penalty that kind of ended the drive on two big drives.
02:50That cost us points on both of them. Still should have put it away there on that last drive.
02:54And I had every opportunity to and missed a couple opportunities to do that.
02:59And when we did that, we gave them a chance and thought our defense played great all game until that last drive.
03:04But let them hang around. And when you let people hang around, that's what happens.
03:09Of course, as I was saying to you earlier, and I know I got cut off by a break.
03:12Of course, I never back the Niners. I go after them every year.
03:16Unders and win totals. Oh, this is the year, Kim, where I have the Niners to win the West attached.
03:23You know, one of those preseason, like big parlays, you throw you throw together some crazy stuff.
03:27Lisey does this to me at night on the radio show.
03:31He's six leg future parlays and all this stuff.
03:34So and I got one couple that look pretty good, except there's a problem and a couple of them.
03:39I have the Niners to win the NFC West and that is not looking very good right now.
03:44Five and five for the Niners, five and five for Seattle, five and five for the Rams.
03:49The Cardinals are six and four. Cardinals are minus 105.
03:52Niners plus 290. Seahawks and Rams both five to one to win the West, Kim.
03:58Down the stretch they come and they all got seven games left.
04:02They do. And a huge game. Think about this. If Seattle beats Arizona, what happens?
04:06That's good news for your Niner bet. And I'll give you and I'll give you a prediction right damn now.
04:11And this is not going to be a popular pick. The Niners go into Green Bay and they get it right.
04:16They're only one and a half two point dogs. They win that game.
04:19All right, the San Francisco 49ers will still win this division.
04:23They will. I'm just hoping that Seattle can find a way to get a wild card.
04:27I think Arizona is going to fade a little bit and I think the Rams are probably the I know it's
04:32are the Rams the worst team in the division or Seattle the we're like I like I don't know.
04:38That's the whole thing like Seattle can look well and then they lose to the Giants before yesterday.
04:44I thought it was Seattle and like they both won yesterday's I think it might be the Rams
04:50but you when you look at the roads that some of these teams have you know,
04:53like the Rams, you know, they got the Eagles
04:55and the bills and the Niners three the next four weeks,
04:57you know those that that could seriously put them in a problem coming forward.
