00:14He was about to go on trial for the domestic assault on his ex-girlfriend.
00:20And a lot of people thought, well, all of a sudden, Megan is showing up and they're saying, oh, this is all a stunt.
00:28Right. This is PR to make him look good, heading into the trial, and she was there every day of the trial.
00:33And there was no evidence it was a stunt. It was just people thought it had to be.
00:37Right.
00:37Well, they're wrong.
00:38Because now, they've made it official. They are engaged to be married.
00:43And this weekend, they were showing off her new hardware and just sort of glowing about their engagement.
00:50If you've seen Megan and Jonathan out on carpets or just on social media, or even just on TMZ, because we get them out a lot,
00:58you will know that they are so in love. They've been in love almost since day one, it seems like.
01:02They are very loud and vocal about how they feel about each other, to the point where I'm almost convinced that they've probably been engaged for a while
01:10and just wanted to simmer and enjoy just being with each other.
01:14You know, Megan has come out and said that a lot of her friends and some of the people closest to her don't really agree with this relationship
01:21and don't know if he's the best person for her.
01:24So I can see them having gotten engaged a while ago and just thoroughly just enjoying each other
01:29and not having to answer all these questions about the grace and the case and all that stuff.
01:33What's really weird is that they, you know, show up and they have their engagement announcement last night,
01:40is that just last week, there were these rumors that they had broken up.
01:44Right.
01:45And it's gone from the polar opposite of that.
01:48Yeah, but we have no idea whether the robot was...
01:51I think that rumor was just based on the fact that they hadn't been out in public together for like a couple of weeks or something.
01:56Our recon is, and this is really good recon, they are really, really happy together.
02:04I mean, this is not a, you know, save my career or anything.
02:08They're just like in love and they're really, really happy together.
02:12I think the critics will still say, okay, all right, you got engaged.
02:17Let's see how long it lasts, which is unfair to them.
02:21Like, I mean, all they can do is just lead their lives.
02:24But you know that people don't shut up.
02:25But you know what, we talked about this.
02:26Look, there was the criminal case.
02:29Remember, the core of the criminal case was that his ex-girlfriend alleged that he assaulted her inside the cab.
02:36While they were in the SUV.
02:38And the jury found him not guilty on that.
02:40They said, nope.
02:42He was found guilty on putting her back in there, for which I believe he received probation.
02:48He got like 50, I think it was a year of counseling.
02:52Right.
02:52A weekly counseling.
02:53And so, you know, a lot of people think he won that case because the core of it, he was found not guilty.
