00:09announced that the U.S. will raise to 100 million U.S. dollars its contribution to the Amazon Fund,
00:15an initiative promoted by Lula Silva. This amount is less than the 500 million committed
00:20in 2023 by Washington over five years. The event will focus on the fight against the
00:25climate crisis and the conservation of the biodiversity of natural treasures.
00:29In total, delegations from 42 countries will be present at the summit,
00:34according to Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula Silva.
