00:00Do you want to play mermaids?
00:01We're going here. You want to come hang out?
00:03They're bunk bedding now.
00:04I guess it's more of a mantra now. It's a novel, so stop.
00:08Guys, I got super emotional last time I spoke to you,
00:10and I've given myself a strong talking to,
00:12because I'm meant to be a professional.
00:13That was awesome.
00:14That was the highlight of the day.
00:16Yes.
00:17Awesome.
00:18It has been too long since I last spoke to you.
00:23Lovely to see you again.
00:24We're on to part two, which is, you know,
00:26you guys are really teasing us out,
00:28because there's a part three to come as well.
00:30And you've always been so good at surprising us
00:32with like appearances from people from the original film.
00:34So what more surprises are there to look forward to?
00:38There are surprises.
00:39There are plot surprises.
00:40Yeah, there are definitely great plot surprises
00:43and areas in part two that go to places we haven't done before.
00:51So go to dramatic effects or comedic effects
00:55or action effects that we have yet to see in Cobra Kai.
01:00So that's a pretty good tease, as I do.
01:02Yeah, that's good.
01:03I know it's really hard to speak about these,
01:05because you don't want to ruin it for anyone.
01:06Well, we get to meet all the international fighters in this one.
01:09And all the, you know, we're in Barcelona, Spain,
01:12and these are the best fighters in the world.
01:14And as we see, Cobra Kai has arrived on the scene.
01:17And what are they going to do?
01:18And all these other amazing martial artists and characters
01:22that just expand the story so much.
01:26And it's just so colorful.
01:28And the martial arts is so incredible.
01:30Martial arts is a section.
01:32It's next level for sure.
01:34Do we really think that Robby and Miguel
01:36can put their differences aside?
01:38Like from what we've seen, they supposedly have.
01:41But what's coming up?
01:42Because I feel like surely, surely they can't.
01:46Yeah, I mean, they're bunk betting now.
01:47So they better get over it.
01:49I feel like, yeah, there's only so far
01:52you can kind of take it with fam.
01:54And Robby and Miguel are newlywed brothers.
01:59And for those reasons,
02:01I feel like it's going to be an interesting season.
02:04Of course, there's friction,
02:05like all teenage friendships and relationships have.
02:10But they're going to come out on the other end.
02:12Stronger.
02:14Stronger.
02:14How's it been filming these final episodes?
02:18Was it a very emotional time doing all these last ones?
02:22It's really hard to believe that it's the end.
02:24And it's just been really overwhelming
02:27and really exciting at the same time.
02:29And just seeing these characters
02:30that we've grown up with at this point,
02:32and we've spent such formative years with,
02:34it's really bittersweet.
02:36Everyone's been saying bittersweet, and it really is.
02:38You know, when you're on a show
02:40for the amount of time I was,
02:42and granted, it was from season three,
02:45but it became like my second family.
02:49You spend time with them.
02:50You get to know, especially the kids too.
02:53I didn't get a chance to really interact
02:56with the kids in season five,
02:59except for the egg stuff and whatnot,
03:03which was a blast.
03:05So this season,
03:07I got a chance to actually hang out with them.
03:09They would actually call me and say,
03:11hey, we're going here.
03:12You want to come hang out?
03:14And we're going to go thrifting.
03:17And I said, okay, I'll go.
03:19So it was a special season for me
03:23as far as getting to know the kids a lot better.
03:25And of course, getting a chance
03:28to hang out with Ralph and Billy on the set.
03:33We just had a blast.
03:35Yeah, you can see that.
03:36It's a great bond.
03:36Actually, Mary was saying how,
03:38Ralph, you send her texts as her fake dad,
03:40and she will cherish those forever,
03:42which I think is adorable.
03:44Completely adorable.
03:45Obviously, there's so much competitiveness
03:47in Cobra Kai with karate.
03:50Are you guys competitive
03:52about anything else amongst each other?
03:54Just Jacob.
03:55Everything.
03:56Not really.
03:56Just Jacob.
03:57He's competitive about everything.
03:58Yeah, he's always like, I can jump higher.
04:02Real schoolyard, yeah.
04:03It's hard when you can jump so high.
04:05I can run.
04:06I can run really fast.
04:07Look how long I can hold my breath.
04:10Do you want to play mermaids?
04:12Did they pick on you a lot during filming?
04:17Oh my god.
04:18Nothing that he doesn't deserve.
04:19I don't know.
04:21He's the worst of all of us.
04:23He started it.
04:24Yeah, thanks.
04:25Wait, what?
04:28Johnny, I'm going to put you on the spot.
04:29Who are you going to miss the most?
04:32Go ahead.
04:32You're going to make me choose?
04:36Who do you like?
04:36I mean, I remember my long conversations
04:39with Martin Cove.
04:40We'd sit by the beach, just brushing each other's hair out,
04:44talking about the day prior.
04:46No, I don't know.
04:48I really can't pick.
04:49I love working with all of them.
04:50No pick.
04:51OK.
04:53Gee, you know what?
04:55I will miss my home dog, P-Money.
04:59I think P-Money.
05:00Oh, OK.
05:01Sorry.
05:02Yeah.
05:02You can't have P-Money.
05:05We'd show you our secret handshake,
05:07but then we'd have to kill you.
05:08But it wasn't that.
05:09It wasn't that.
05:10It definitely wasn't that.
05:11But I'm going to miss all of them.
05:12They have the funniest text thread together, I will say.
05:14Yeah.
05:15We get each other.
05:16You think they're text thread?
05:17It's like the most un-
05:19like, you would never guess this duo, but it just works.
05:21Thanks.
05:22There I was thinking it was Hawk.
05:24Hawk.
05:26I know where I stand.
05:27He can't miss him if he's not going to leave him.
05:29So, you know.
05:30Well, that's very true.
05:31What would you say, for you, is the mantra from Cobra Kai
05:35that has stuck with you?
05:37Like, if you were going to give one to me, say, for instance,
05:41what would it be?
05:43It's going to sound smart.
05:45Keep moving forward.
05:46Keep, you know, we say falling forward.
05:49You know, they're fallible human characters
05:52who are facing great obstacles, whether they're external
05:56or internal to their own selves that they're
05:58overcoming themselves.
05:59But you could be a better version of yourself.
06:03Right.
06:04Open-mindedness, sort of, you know, I use the different
06:08but same analogy, which is a Miyagi-ism.
06:12And a lot of these characters are very different,
06:15but often same when they're, you know, their hearts
06:19are in the right place and not being closed off to,
06:23I guess it's more of a mantra now.
06:24It's a novel, so I'll stop.
06:26But, you know, elements there.
06:29Yeah, I think focusing on the now, the present, for me,
06:33is what I took from the show and not worrying
06:37about the past, not worrying about the future.
06:40Think about where you are in the present.
06:42I love that.
06:43Well, I am thinking about the future, though.
06:442025, we've got part three, plus a movie, which I hope
06:48to see all three of you in.
06:51Who knows?
06:52I know you're not going to tell me, but I'm very excited.
06:55And if I hear you're the best in any of this series,
06:57I will cry just like I did the first time.
07:00Thank you so much for this whole series,
07:03but just for being who you are.
07:05It's been great.
07:05Thank you so much.
07:06Thank you so much.
