00:00I felt lucky that I got to play an original character.

00:04It kind of took a bit of that weight off as I'm sure it was hard for the rest of my cast.

00:12I mean, it would have been interesting to play one of the characters from the original movie

00:18because it's always fun to see what new ways you can take a stab at something that's already been done so well.

00:25No, I liked not having anything to stay loyal to, if that makes sense.

00:37Yeah, so I was a little bit fortunate that it was more of a purposeful choice.

00:43I didn't want to replicate Ryan's performance because it is a cult classic

00:46and he did such a wonderful job the first time and it's a new chapter to the series.

00:52And so I think I had such a supportive team with the showrunners, Vivi and Sarah.

00:59It was, I don't know how to put it. It was a lot of fun, yeah.

01:06Yeah, you were able to, you took something that people love so much and you made it,

01:14you made it your own, which is hard to do, man.
