Scotland captain Stafford McDowall speaks ahead of match v Portugal at Murrayfield
Transcript
00:00Everyone's really excited, everyone's ready to go. It's all knowledge that everything was good, so I'm pretty much ready for that bit tomorrow.
00:05How are you feeling about beating the boys out at Murrayfield?
00:08Yeah, it's obviously, I think the closer we get to the game, the more it'll probably hit me and I'll get a bit more nervous.
00:13It hit me a bit more today when I had to do a bit more talking and stuff like that than in the last couple of weeks.
00:18But yeah, it's something that I might never get a chance to do again, lead a Scotland team out at Murrayfield.
00:23So I'll try and embrace and enjoy the moment.
00:25I imagine for most young players it's a dream come true to lead your country out in front of a packed home support.
00:32Yeah, like you say, I said earlier in the week that it was something that I didn't think I'd have the chance to do.
00:37So it is a dream come true to play for Scotland and to start a game here at Murrayfield, never mind with the team out.
00:43So it's hopefully something I'll be able to take in a lot of and remember for the rest of my life.
