The people of Liverpool are what gives the city its heart. Some of these inspirational Scousers have been permanently honoured with statues in their likeness. The Beatles and Ken Dodd already have sculptures, but who else would you like to see immortalised?

00:08We're a city that's not short of talent and we show our pride in our distinguished citizens
00:13with a statue of their likeness. But who deserves to be cast in bronze?
00:19We've been on the streets of Liverpool to ask which famous scouter you'd like to see
00:23a statue of next here in the city. I think of the ones who haven't got a
00:27statue already and most have, one that really comes to mind and a great figure
00:36no longer with us and the work that she did in the hardest circumstances will be Anne Williams.

01:08longer with us. I think she deserves one for the work that she did in the most difficult circumstances.

01:26Fab Four statue at Liverpool's Pier Head. The Cilla Black statue was unveiled in 2017.
