00:47Also in the Cordillera Administrative Region, where there are 7,500 FFPs, according to the government,

01:04Meanwhile, the Angels in Red Vests of SWAD Kirinu continues to monitor the situation of internally displaced persons or IDPs in six towns of Kirinu Province affected by Hurricane Nika,

01:16as well as the distribution of food and non-food items by the DSWD to those affected by the following typhoons in evacuation centers.

01:22The DSWD has also successfully assisted the Bureau of Fire Protection, or BFP,

01:28in loading important relief supplies for the Apayaw Satellite Warehouse.

01:34The Coast Guard Station, Kalayan, has also remained on high alert and continues to monitor the effects of Hurricane Nika in Cagayan,

01:42where FFPs will also be located in the Barangay Poblacion, Kalayan, Cagayan to meet the needs of the residents.

01:49Meanwhile, the government has become more proactive in addressing Hurricane Nika in the country.

01:55According to DILG Secretary John V. Cremulia,

01:58the local governments have immediately ordered the implementation of preemptive evacuations in places that have been monitored by the typhoon.

02:06The reason is to avoid any casualty.

02:09According to Kalihim, this is the lesson learned by the LGUs on how to deal with Hurricane Christine.
