00:00Drivers on the London Underground may see a change in their working conditions following
00:06what Aslef Union calls a genuinely groundbreaking agreement between the union and Transport
00:11for London. Proposals include a discussion on restructuring the working week that could
00:16see drivers work just four days out of seven. The announcement comes after successful pay
00:22negotiations led to planned strikes being called off. Transport for London has said
00:26discussions are ongoing and there will be no reduction in contractual hours. Transport
00:33for London is now accepting applications for photo cards from London residents aged over
00:3860, students aged over 18, apprentices and individuals aged 18-25 who are leaving care
00:46and living in London. TfL is to issue refunds for Londoners who were prevented from applying
00:52for their Oyster photo card scheme and have incurred extra travel costs as a result. The
00:58much-valued passes entitle holders to discounted or free travel across a myriad of services
01:04including buses, the underground trams, the DLR, the recently opened Elizabeth Line and
01:10most national rail services. And finally, London Heathrow Airport is set to surpass
01:16its pre-pandemic passenger record after its busiest October ever saw 7 million travellers
01:22use the airport. More than 7.2 million passengers flew through Heathrow in October as the half-term
01:30peak helped the airport to its sixth consecutive month of more than 7 million passengers. Chief
01:37Executive Thomas Woodby said that this year has been all about breaking records at Heathrow
01:42Airport. After the busier-than-expected summer and early autumn period, the airport raised its
