00:00The MMDA is warning that the candidates who put tarpaulins will be fined for their ownership while Comelec is already dead because of the spread of tarpaulins but they still have a say in the candidates.

00:18Princess, Metro Manila Development Authority is warning that the candidates who put tarpaulins can be fined for 2025 elections especially if it's on the property of MMDA according to MMDA Deputy Chairman Frisco S. San Juan Jr.
00:39As long as they see that the posters are placed on their streetlights or are overpassed, they will be fined even if there is no election period or campaign time.
00:52Frisco S. San Juan Jr. explained that the government's structures cannot be used without a reason and they can be fined up to Php 5,000 for each poster.
01:05For the big billboard of politicians that can be seen on major roads, MMDA is ordering its surveillance in the Department of Public Works and Highways or DPWH.
01:17Princess, the Commission on Elections said that they are keeping their eyes on the posters that are placed on the roads because the premature campaigning is not prohibited.
01:32But if there is a campaign period, they will remove the candidates' posters one by one that are not in the right size and in the right place.
01:42They will only talk to those who are starting campaigns and use posters that are not in the public interest.
01:51Meanwhile, Comelec and MMDA signed an agreement for a partnership on the upcoming election.
01:59Comelec will help MMDA officials and their equipment such as CCTV and mobile command centers in monitoring the preparation for the election.
