00:00It was scary and difficult and challenging, but he was, you know, he was so strong and brave and anytime, you know, my child, my children had not even had blood drawn at this point.
00:12Next thing you know, you know, we're in the ER and there was a, you know, without getting too much into it, just a little bit of misdiagnosing.
00:21You know, once we got to the ER, he had progressed and then I had about 10 minutes from when they told me he was going into emergency surgery to when he actually, they wheeled him away.
00:32So it was very traumatic, very frightening, but thank God he was OK.
00:38But then I'd have a second one five days later and then there was a few other setbacks.
00:43But, you know, seeing him not walking for a month and being in the hospital for two weeks and then coming out in a wheelchair to a walker to limping to walking and soon to be running is, you know, kids.
01:00They do, they bounce back.
01:02Yeah, they're very resilient.
01:04They bounce back and he's doing thank God he's doing really, really well.
01:07So I'm so happy.
01:08Yes, it really does.
01:10It really does.
01:11We were able to have a really nice Halloween with everyone and PK and the kids and myself.
01:18So it was great.
01:20You know, you love to celebrate the holidays and you do something for Halloween.
01:23You do something for Christmas.
01:25You know, Halloween, obviously, with the two kids, since they were little, it's always been a family tradition.
01:30You know, we all and we love it and look forward to it.
01:33And when Jack was in the hospital, we didn't know what was going on.
01:36Really, I didn't know if there was going to be a Halloween, you know, and certainly didn't.
01:40And so for us to have been able to do it and get dressed and maybe able to take them trick or treating, it was it was everything, you know, so I'm so happy.
01:50Dorit and I have known each other for quite a while now.
01:53You know, we've been in acquaintance for a long time because she and I have mutual friends back in New York.
01:58But I think the great thing about for us, and I'm sure you can agree, Dorit, is that, you know, we have a lot of downtime because we're always traveling.
02:05You're always sitting in an airport, sitting in a car, waiting to go on an appearance, doing your confessionals.
02:11You know, so it's a great way without having to call and engage in that way, just to sneak away and just, you know, connect without overly connecting to, you know, kill time.
02:21And it's very relaxing.
02:24It is. It's it's therapeutic.
02:26It's connecting in a therapeutic way where it doesn't take a lot of energy.
02:31You don't have to, you know, have communication, texting calls.
02:35But yet you feel like you are you're connected.
02:38And it is it feels like there's there's something very relaxing, very exciting.
02:44And it's a great way, like Dorinda said, it's a great way to occupy yourself.
02:49You know, it's effortless and and, you know, who doesn't like also getting your brain going?
02:55You know.
