00:28So many thoughts here, but let's start with the fact that Sabrina Carpenter is a full-blown
00:31adult and hasn't pretended to be anything else.
00:34And half the tracks on her album are explicit, so if you listen to the album and you decided
00:38to buy a ticket to her show for either you or your kid, you should know at that point
00:43what you're paying for, and that's on you.
00:46Also these dance moves aren't any more suggestive than what pop stars have been doing for decades,
00:50and that screams of two things.
00:52One, that there really has been a return to a more puritanical view of sensuality among
00:57younger folks that is continuously fascinating.
01:00And two, that we as a culture have not fully evolved from having to attack the latest female
01:03pop star for how she looks and acts on stage.
01:06We did it to Madonna, we did it to Miley Cyrus, and countless others.
01:09Finally, the fact that this Swiftie identified Taylor as Sabrina's ender just completely
01:14misses the mark on their relationship.
01:16Sabrina was Taylor's opener on the A-R-R-I-S tour, the two have been vocally supportive
01:20of one another in interviews and on social media.
01:23So contrary to this teenager's belief, there can be more than one successful blonde
01:27woman in the music industry.
