00:00We're so excited, you know, like to not just myself, but all the
00:29businesses and the people in the support systems that have helped me create this
00:32this wonderful destination. To actually see it open and for the last week
00:37when we've been testing waves, seeing beginners, intermediate surfers, you know
00:41professionals, all come out the water with their eyes on stocks and just
00:45having the time of their lives, it's really starting to sink in about
00:49the type of place that we can be for the people of Scotland to come and visit us
00:52and further our field.
00:59This is the most impressive display of innovative and illustrious engineering
01:27and secondly to have the concept of developing and designing all this over
01:32the past few years has also been most impressive. If you don't want to come
01:36here and surf, there are other things to do. Three different types of food
01:40offering in the in the canteen over there. This is good for tourism in
01:43Scotland. This is the biggest investment that Scotland's seen in an activity
01:48based, resort based venue like this for 10 years, since the Ryder Cup.
01:53You can use here as a base for visiting the borders of Scotland, South Scotland,
01:58go down to Peebles, head out west or head up north. So it's a great centrally
02:03located place to come and visit and hold your base camp from. Waves are very
02:08unpredictable and we don't always get to surf every single day, especially in
02:11Scotland you know, so I think a facility like this for Scottish surfing is going
02:16to do absolute wonders. I think you'll see a lot more
02:19professional surfers come up in Scotland over the next kind of three to
02:23five years. Sometimes you go surfing in the sea and on a good session you might
02:28only get 10 to 15 waves, but here you could get 100, 150. So I think getting
02:33that much practice and getting to work on all your manoeuvres, it's like, it's
02:37gonna be amazing. I'll be training here all the time for sure, especially in the
02:41summer. This is very much a surf resort. We've got 52 units of amazing
02:46accommodation. We've got 31 luxury lodges, three and four bed lodges, so great
02:51places for families or a couple of sets of families to go and stay in a lodge.
02:55We've got a really cool, well curated, you know, food events destination. It's
03:01curated by Rogue Village and we're great guys and we've got some of the best
03:05chefs coming in to start with us, from Chivarino's pizzas to Rafa's Mexican to
03:11Five March, which is just foodie heaven. You add those three components together
03:15and that's what makes us a resort, alongside the wellness we have, massages
03:20and Surfskate Academy and things like that. It's the biggest surf resort in
03:24Europe. This is big, so it caters for beginners, families and the very best
03:30surfers in the world. What an impressive operation.
