00:19Our goal is to promote biodiversity mainstreaming. Our theme for the past two years has been
00:24the conflict between stray dogs and wild animals. The reason we chose this event is
00:29that when we solve these problems, we need the support of various policies and the public.
00:34But on this issue, we have little consensus, so we hope that through this event, more people
00:39can see this issue.
00:42This year's appeal includes a proposal to incorporate dogs and cats into school curriculum
00:47as examples of invasive species, letting young children know the threat they pose to local
00:53animals.
01:11Many attendees are here for the first time, with some parents using it as a chance to
01:16educate their children.
01:24Animal rights activists will continue marching down this path, making sure that the stray
01:29population in the country is brought under control and protecting the native wildlife.
