Transcript
00:00Thanks for joining us, Grace. You're about to kick off your first business venture with Luana Markets. Can you tell us about that?
00:05Yeah, so Luana Markets is basically a pre-loved clothing market. It's where everyone can come down and sell their pre-loved clothes or even just come down and buy some pre-loved clothes.
00:17It's a really great opportunity to make a bit of extra money or just to buy a new outfit that's giving clothes a second chance at life.
00:25And how important is this to you?
00:26It's quite exciting and it's a really new venture for me. Yeah, so I'm really excited.
00:34Excellent. And can you tell us about your interest in the fashion industry as well?
00:38Yeah, so I've always had, since a young age, I've always loved, had a bit of a passion for fashion and so I think it's really exciting to kind of bring this into our local community and to be able to provide this market so that everyone can come and sell their clothes or buy their clothes
00:54and also about promoting sustainability and making it a really sustainable approach.
00:59And you've just finished year 12. You're planning on a gap year and obviously you've got your sprinting pursuits. But what are you hoping to do after your gap year?
01:07I'm wanting to go to Melbourne and I'm going to study at the Whitehouse Institute of Design and study a course in fashion. So that's been really exciting.
01:16Excellent. Is there any particular areas in the fashion industry you like? Do you want to be a designer?
01:21I want to get into styling. So the course I'm taking is a Bachelor of Creative Direction and Styling. So that's kind of the area of the industry that I want to get into.
01:31No worries. Best of luck.
