Scotland captain Sione Tuipulotu on why he signed a new contract with Glasgow Warriors
Transcript
00:00to see that remaining in Scotland was the best thing for you?
00:03Yeah, I'm super happy. I suppose, I think it just gives me so much peace of mind,
00:08just to know, you know, this could be my home for the next three years.
00:10And in terms of making my decision, I suppose I come to, you know,
00:16the option of maybe going to the Prem or maybe going over to France.
00:19And I had a pretty good chat with Gregor post-summer tour and with Franco.
00:26And I think that kind of spoke a little bit of reason into me in terms of,
00:30I still have so much to achieve here in Scotland, but also at Glasgow as well.
00:33And my heart's really in it at Glasgow at the moment.
00:38And yeah, I think that just correlates to, you know, how I want to play and stuff like that.
00:43And I suppose there's always the temptation to try and go somewhere else.
00:48And you never know how long you're going to play rugby and stuff like that.
00:50But I also think I had already moved, you know, like from Melbourne to Japan and Japan to Glasgow.
00:58And it was kind of a sense of also, I'm happy where I am.
01:02So why try and search for something, I suppose, more, you know what I mean?
01:06Somewhere else where I'm happy right where I am.
01:08So yeah, I'm pretty pleased about staying here at home.
01:11And yeah, I'm relieved.
