00:00Will the UK finally see some sunshine this weekend?
00:03Keep watching because there will be some sun for some.
00:06So Saturday, first of all, yes, a predominantly cloudy day
00:10with bits and pieces of drizzle around eastern Scotland,
00:12north-east England, down towards Lincolnshire,
00:14and there'll also be some light rain throughout the day
00:16across the far south-west of England,
00:18western parts of Wales, and Northern Ireland.
00:20But elsewhere, mostly dry, and there will be some sunshine,
00:23mainly across the north-west of Scotland,
00:26where it will also feel mildest,
00:28with temperatures up to around 11 or 12 degrees Celsius.
00:30Elsewhere, a cooler day than of late,
00:32with temperatures at best up into the high single figures.
00:35Now on to Sunday.
00:37Sunday sees a change.
00:38We see a band of rain moving into the north-west of the UK,
00:42bringing spells of rain throughout the day
00:43across Scotland, Northern Ireland,
00:45and the north-west of England and Wales.
00:46Now, behind that band of rain,
00:48there will be brighter skies developing
00:50for north-western parts of Scotland
00:52and the west of Northern Ireland.
00:54And there'll be some bright or sunny spells
00:55also developing across parts of the Midlands,
00:58central and southeastern England, too.
01:00And temperatures will be slightly higher everywhere,
01:03up to around 11 or 12 degrees Celsius.
