00:00The government of Cebu City is warning not to give money or goods to street caroling performers
00:08because they could be fined Php 1,000 and community service.
00:12According to Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia, they are being forced to implement the City Ordinance 1361
00:20that prohibits street caroling and the implementation of the No Permit No Caroling Policy.
00:25Those who want to perform caroling for fundraising need to get a permit from the Business Permit Licensing Office for free.
00:34The Cebu City Traffic Office is also monitoring carolers for passenger vehicles
00:40and prohibits caroling in PUVs.
00:43Violators will be given a citation ticket.
