00:00The typhoon Mars is moving faster and slower as it approaches the land of Cagayan.

00:07Aside from the strong rain and wind, the storm surge is also being forecasted.

00:15We learned the update from the weather specialist, Lori de la Cruz.

00:25Mars intensified and got stronger.

00:28It is now approaching northeastern Cagayan.

00:32The last estimated distance is 115 kilometers.

00:38It is close to the landmass of Cagayan.

00:41It can cross the islands and the northeastern portion of Cagayan.

00:49The wind is strong at 175 kilometers per hour near the center and 215 kilometers per hour.

00:56It is still moving slowly west-northwestward.

00:59Signal number 4 is still high in the northern portion of Cagayan,

01:04northern portion of Apayao, and northern portion of Ilocos Norte.

01:09Signal number 3 in Batanes, rest of Cagayan, rest of Apayao, rest of Ilocos Norte,

01:14northern portion of Abra, and northern portion of Ilocos Sur.

01:18Signal number 2 in the northern and central portion of Isabela, rest of Abra, Calinga,

01:23mountain province, northern portion of Ipugao, northern portion of Binguet, rest of Ilocos Sur,

01:28northern portion of La Union.

01:30Signal number 1 in the remaining part of La Union, Sandacinan, rest of Ipugao,

01:34rest of Binguet, rest of Isabela, Quilino, Nueva Vizcaya, northern and central portion of Aurora,

01:40northern portion of Nueva Ecija, and the northern portion of Zambales.

01:45In the places that we mentioned, especially in a large part of Northern Luzon,

01:51almost the whole Northern Luzon and tapas of Central Luzon,

01:54we are continuing to take care of them because the typhoon Sea Marse is coming

01:59and it has a big impact.

02:01The wind impact as well as the rain and especially the storm surge,

02:06there is a strong storm surge here in the coastal areas of Batanes,

02:13Sagayans, in the wild islands of Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and La Union.

02:19The storm surge can reach up to 3 meters that can be experienced there.

02:23Aside from that, we can see that the width of the typhoon,

02:28the range of it can reach from Northern Luzon to Central Luzon.

02:34Meanwhile, according to our Tropical Cyclone Circulation by next week,

02:38it is possible that there will be a circulation that will enter our area of responsibility

02:43and it can develop in the Pacific Ocean within the boundary of the Tropical Cyclone Information Domain.

02:51By week 2, November 13 to 19,

02:55our forecast is that the first circulation can pass through the northern area of the FAR

03:06and there is a low to moderate likelihood that it will develop into a tropical cyclone or typhoon.

03:13We should be prepared to be hopeful because there is uncertainty

03:17especially if the wavelength is far and long.
