09:54patients are waiting for evacuation out of Gaza, among them children.
09:58In this regard, Dr. Rick Pippercorn, WHO representative for the Occupied Palestinian Territories,
10:04said that the evacuees are part of a list of priority candidates compiled by the Ministry
10:08of Health in Gaza.
10:10Pippercorn further added that since the closure of the Rafah border crossing between Gaza
10:14and Egypt on May 2024, approximately 282 medical evacuations have taken place.

17:03Hurricane Rafael swirled past the Cayman Islands, expected to rapidly intensify before landfall.
17:07It's a Category 3 hurricane on Wednesday in western Cuba.
17:11The storm was about 150 km south of La Isla de Ventura.
17:14It had maximum sustained winds of 160 km per hour and was moving northwest at 22 km per
17:20hour.
17:21Forecasters warned that Rafael would slam into Cuba on Wednesday after dumping rain
17:24on Jamaica and the Cayman Islands on Tuesday.
17:28While authorities warn of floods, storm surges and mudslides, in Cuba, the Provincial Defense
17:32Council of Havana also ordered the suspension of public transport services.
17:37As well, the hurricane will have a direct impact on the western part of the island.
17:46The United Nations Organization reported that more than 2 billion inhabitants of the planet's
