00:00There they assaulted the homeowner and then stole some property at his motor vehicle.
00:04Later on, a separate motor vehicle was involved in a collision
00:10in Tamworth, we believe those incidents were related, where that second vehicle was involved
00:15in the collision. They attempted to take the handbag from the driver of that vehicle,
00:19the other vehicle that was involved. They weren't able to do that. The lady involved in that
00:23collision suffered some injuries and she was later sent to hospital for those injuries.
00:27Yes, certainly by anyone's standards, you know, you should be able to sleep in your own home
00:31without the concern of anyone breaking in and certainly in this case, three unknown males
00:36forcing their way into your home and taking some property and your vehicle. It's very concerning
00:40and it would be virtually impossible to accept that three people were involved in this incident
00:45and no one would be aware of who they were, where they went before or after this incident,
00:49the vehicle they were using. There's people in the community that know who these people were,
00:54what they did and I call on those people that, you know, put yourself in that victim situation.
00:58If you were that person and had someone break into your home early hours in the morning,
01:01take a car and threaten you, that you wouldn't, you wouldn't certainly like that and you'd want
01:06police to deal with it. Here's your opportunity to deal with it. I've seen over the last week
01:10incidents of this nature which are very concerning for us. However,
01:13the resourcing from Oxley Police District, from the Western Region Traffic Highway Patrol,
01:17the Dog Squad unit last night, where they're all focused on identifying who these people
01:21are and putting them before the court.
