00:00Jerry Jones told us, this is why you got to Tolo, turn it on, leave it on.
00:19He said, we're making a move for a wide receiver.
00:21Then the breaking news hits that it is Jonathan Mingo from the Carolina Panthers, who is he?
00:29Second round pick out of Ole Miss.
00:32The stats last year, 15 games played, 43 catches, 418 yards, no touchdowns.
00:39This year, nine games played, 12 catches, zero touchdowns.
00:45RJ Choppy and Tolos, how are you reacting?
00:48Well, I was like, okay, you know, this is an upside play.
00:51Yes, I should include, I'm sorry, the number one headline from this, not making a lot of
00:57Cowboy fans happy, including Peyton Russell's thumbs down, the Cowboys gave up a fourth
01:03rounder to do it.
01:04Yeah, but they got a seventh back, Sean, too.
01:05Okay, so you got to put that in the win column.
01:09Listen, he has won five, in his last four games, he has five targets.
01:17Corey Majors just walked by shaking his head.
01:19He has five targets in the last four games.
01:21How many yards does he have on those five targets?
01:24He does have, he does have a catch.
01:28It was a 60-yarder.
01:29Got one yard in the last four games.
01:32Hey, man.
01:33Receiving.
01:34Now it's Bryce Young.
01:35Bums throwing.
01:36Bums throwing.
01:37And he don't.
01:38In Carolina.
01:39I'm trying to get a read on Bobby Bassett came in here laughing, Corey Majors shaking
01:43his head.
01:44Bobby looks semi-angry, I can't tell, exasperated, but we need your emotion and the scouting
01:52report from doing the homework on Jonathan Mingo.
01:56He doesn't separate.
01:58He doesn't separate.
01:59Neither does anybody else on this team, so it's perfect.
02:02Dude, a fourth-rounder?
02:03Yeah, that's kind of the problem.
02:04A fourth-rounder?
02:05A fourth.
02:06That hurts.
02:07They've given him a fourth-rounder the last two years on Trey Lance and Jonathan Mingo.
02:13And Mingo was fine, like Mingo a year ago in the fourth round would have been considered
02:19good value.
02:22But I mean, it's just, he's, he is a big physical.
02:26The testing numbers are really impressive.
02:28Like he's a guy who he's very explosive.
02:31He's big body.
02:32He's like 6'2, 225.
02:33He's big guy, but he just, he doesn't, he doesn't get a lot of separation.
02:40He's a, he's a good route runner.
02:42He's like, he's a, an attention to detail guy.
02:45You can tell by the way that he, he runs his routes.
02:47It's not like he's lazy and he just goes out there and tries to big body catch it.
02:51But even with that work and some of the athletic testing and things like that, he doesn't get
02:56like super open.
02:57Everything's contested and everything on his tape at Ole Miss was contested.
03:01And so I haven't watched him in Carolina, but it feels a lot like, okay, if that was
03:07the guy that I saw on tape and now Carolina's trading him a year and a half later, that
03:11tells me he probably was having trouble winning consistently and Bryce Young wasn't succeeding
03:17throwing in contested windows.
