Given Labour's recent budget, which includes significant tax increases despite their pre-election promise not to raise taxes, how do you feel about their trustworthiness?

00:00Well I'm a Labour supporter and I voted Labour at the last election. I was born a
00:04Scouser and I was born to vote Labour when I was young and I suddenly find out
00:09I'm not going to have a heating allowance. I'm 81 and it's going to affect
00:14me terribly. I have no family, I'm on my own.
00:16I've grown up, I've brought lads up, all got good jobs, we've all worked all our life but the
00:21Labour's never give us nothing.
00:23I think Labour have lost a lot of trust
00:26because they've broken a lot of the election promises. What Rachel Reeves
00:30was saying about there'll be no tax increases for the working
00:33person and then they seem very difficult to describe what a working person is.
00:39They seem to have moved the goalposts a bit on that.
00:40I'm very distressed that Labour have decided to do that. I know that most of them were whipped.
00:45They were told they had to vote for it but I think it's tragic. There were times
00:50in your life, I don't know if they want the pensions to die between now and next
00:53year so you don't have to give us an increase in our pensions
00:57because I think half the people freeze to death.
