00:36They're saying that used to be us. And I think American exceptionalism and the ways in which
00:43American government and systems work to silo people off in their own world of problems makes
00:50us think that we can never get there. But that whole saying of a threat to justice anywhere
00:55is a threat to justice everywhere is true because they will call you lucky for what you're
01:02experiencing in comparison to somebody else, as long as it's not that bad,
01:07until it gets to be that bad, and we're on the verge of that bad.
